Terry: Had a fairly large leak in 2005 Grand Caravan. I had added sealer and hose stop leak and still had to recharge with 1 or two cans two time a year for two years. Charge would only last 6 weeks.
I suspected evaporator and metal line to the rear air unit were both leaking so I decided to try this product since it also works on metal. Installed this product almost 4 months ago and it is still blowing cold.
Unfortunately the cost of this product has increased by 50% since I purchased 18 months ago, It is too expensive to waste. After reading the reviews on the problems with the plastic valve, I did not want to take a chance and used my manifold set to charge. I recommend you do the same or use a can tape and hose with adator.

Larry P.: This item worked, first item like this that I have tried that actually worked. System would leak down in about 48 hours, has been nice and cold for 96 hours now. Will have to keep some on hand for use as required. However the low side connector on the hose is the worse I have ever used.

Volodymyr Shevchuk: Tried to use the included hose, but after screwing in the needle and piercing the can it started leaking on a needle plastic nut, which was not holding at all. Had to use another hose loosing half of a can while reconnecting them, but managed to fill whatever was left to my car system. AC blows cold now, let’s see for how long. But the hissing sound that was present before while the AC was on is now gone so I guess it’s a good sign

peter.chu@sbcglobal.net: I was skeptical about buying this leak stopper because my mechanic told me the leak on my Evaporator Coil can not be stopped or sealed by any leak stopper on the market but I took a chance on this stopper because of some customer reviews I read and I charged it into my 2nd Gen Prius and it worked. My AC is blowing cold air now like before and four weeks have gone by and my AC is still working good. I want to take this opportunity to thank the feedbacks I received from some customers whose review really helped me to decide to purchase this product. Thank all of you! I hope this product stopped the leak for me permanently.

At this point I thought I was going to have to put it in the shop and have to fork out $1000 or so dollars for a new compressor. I figured I would give this stuff a shot before going that route. I popped the hood and ran it through my AC line followed by a fresh can of refrigerant.
It’s now been 2+ months and my AC is still ICE COLD. Longevity wise I hope it continues to last but I can attest that this stuff does indeed do what it’s supposed to!
