Deborah Burrell-Martin: Cute toy , lots of fun in the beginning. I thought it was a toy that would keep my kittens’ interest but unfortunately it didn’t.

Swami.grlSwami.grl: My daughter is a new cat mom to a kitten we rescued after he was abandoned by the mom. He lives in her room and after he recovered we found that he has so much energy. This helps with boredom while she's in class or not in her room. It holds his attention sporadically and I will be putting velcro on the bottom to keep it on the rug.

Jill: My foster kitties went nuts for this mainly enjoying it right before the sun rose. On carpet it seemed to do great. They rolled the ball, made the little mouse go nuts, and had a good time. On hard floor it was easy for them to flip so I often would wake up to find it upside down and the kitties annoyed. It moved around a lot, too, so maybe adding some velcro on the bottom would help that on carpet or something sticky on the hard floors.

Renee C.: I had a very young kitten drop into my life from a tree in our backyard, and she's still here! This toy was one that I bought for her entertainment. She really enjoyed it initially, but she plays with it less than expected now. It could be that she just has too many options, and she prefers the toys she can chase around as opposed to something that has to be played with in one spot. The battery-operated mouse was a hit though, and when I first saw her playing with that, I thought that this toy was worth buying just for the bonus mouse. Part of what makes it so good is that it will stop and change direction when batted around, or if it bumps into a stationary object, like a wall or piece of furniture it stops and changes direction. It works better on a hard surface floor than carpet though. Battery life can be an issue. It does have an on/off switch. Even though my kitten doesn't play with the toy as much as some others now, it's still a nice toy that provided different types of stimulation, and I'll keep it around for her for the time being as long as it gets used once in a while.

B. T.: This is a solid addition to the playroom. The kittens like spinning the ball and batting the mouse. Most of the toys I bought only held their interest for about 30 seconds, but this is one they come back to again and again.
