Shannon: This is excellent for our Australian Shepherd puppy. We fill it full of peanut butter for a nice snack and to keep her busy while we are away! Tough product made to last through puppy stage.

Morgan: This item is super durable and stands up to my power chewer! I’ve had these for more than two years and no damage at all and I leave the dogs with them filled with frozen food when I go to work. The other Tux product you can stuff with the squiggles in the middle did not stand up to his power chewing as impeccably although it did quite well (he tore out small pieces from the edges with his front teeth).

Michaela: There are very few products our dogs will find fun and durable. West Paw does it!

Michelle V.: My older dog loves to have to work for her food- but as she got older her toys and kongs were harder for her to interact with especially with arthritis and her bad eyes.
This worked because the opening was big so the food fell out easier for her. I would also sometimes put food/treats/peanut butter and freeze it so it would stay in it longer for her to interact with

sloan youngsloan young: So filled this with wet food stuffed with her treats and put in the freezer overnight. Next day gave to the puppy, who is teething in the worst way, and she loved it! Chewed and licked and chewed.... for 2+ hours. Its been a week and she gets the frozen treat every other day and after all the chewing it still looks brand new. It also seems she is laying off the furniture, base boards, etc. since she has had something for teething pain.

ErnieErnie: Picture above shows this West Paw toy after 3 months of DAILY chewing. I can see there are many months left in this unit. It really keeps my 1 year old beagle "Doug" busy and not worrying about me when I'm busy myself with chores around the house. I was spending a lot on beef bones, which of course he loves but are really expensive here. I could have many of these Zogoflex with what I've already spent on bones. So it was worth every penny. I tried different fillings, but Doug could get them out too quickly as they would bust apart, commercial biscuits, etc.. I've settled on simmered beef heart that is about 1/4 inch thick x 1 and 1/4 inch square. I jam that into the hole and he is at it for hours at a time. Beef heart is cheap in most grocery stores and it's lean and good for your dog. I cook up a bunch of heart cut, cut it into squares and keep them in the freezer. Thaw a few out at a time that last a day or two of chewing. Cool toy/device .. somebody was thinking!! I'm going to pick up another one of these units soon.

E. BeckstromE. Beckstrom: So far so good, we'll see what happens over time. That's probably most people have I've tried different supposedly indestructible chew toys and have had some last as little as two or three hours before showing serious wear. After a few days of really intense chewing for hours at a time this thing does not have a mark on it. Granted, my dog is a only a 70 lb boxer, but she has destroyed other things pretty easily. You can tell by the photos other people have posted that this item has pretty mixed reviews and while I can understand people being disappointed and irritated it does have a return warranty, so there really isn't a reason not to try it to see if it survives your doggy. I am giving it four stars instead of five because I'm not entirely satisfied with the little pocket where you put the treats. It's too big for anything but medium or large treats but then it's also kind of hard to get the larger treat out. I'm not really sure anyone has quite solved this problem, treat dispensing toys are kind of a dubious prospect. The other thing I like about this toy is its shape, which allows it to bounce irregularly if you throw it, and my dog gets very silly with it, pawing at it and...

p: My dog was able to chew bits off the toy. He likes it and you can keep him busy a short time if you stuff a treat inside. Just be prepared that aggressive chewers will leave pieces of rubber around.
