DANAE C.: I'm not sure who is entertained more - myself watching the cats or the cats themselves. The cats definitely like this toy although they are big cats and can be a bit rough. One of my cats destroyed the feathered toy within minutes of playing with it (Thankfully they give you extras) Because I have multiple cats I get nervous leaving them unattended with this toy - I'm afraid they are going to get into a cat-fight over playtime. They do like it and it is good quality. Any distraction and form of exercise is a good thing so I give this toy a thumbs up.

Joe: Used for kitties at home when we traveled. On fastest speed kitties would catch the feather and it would be gone in days. It still works without feather. They lay next to it with proud accomplishment. We now swap it out with another toy that has an inner timer. With batteries it ran over a month.

K. Lauer: Great cat entertainment! I bought this before a week-long vacation to entertain my cats during the day. The cats love it and it was a great supplement to my cat sitter. I only used it intermittently after the long vacation, but after about 8 months the repeat every 4 hour mode stopped working. I tried changing out batteries and even keeping it plugged in all the time, but it only seems to come on when you push the button (no more repeats). I ended up replacing it with the 3-in1 model that is only a USB charger, not batteries, so we will see if the newer version lasts longer.

Also, dark mode doesn’t seem to ever work, so it runs throughout the night (even the new one).

Samantha stewart: Got this for my two indoor cats who are starting to look a bit stir crazy. It took a while for them to warm up to it, but now at least one of my cats plays with it here and there. Which is great! Getting a cats full attention is a near impossibility. That said.... sometimes when no cats nor I am near it it will just COME ON. Out of nowhere. Is this an intentional design feature? If so, that's cool. Means I don't have to activate it for them to get stimulated by it. If it's NOT an intentional design feature...any one else experiencing this? And if no, now I know I should be worried! HA!

Sue E.: I bought the 2 in 1 model 6 months ago and it definitely keeps the cats entertained when I'm too busy to play with them or when we're away. The trick is to not let it run automatically all day every day, so they don't lose interest. Unless we're away on a trip, I almost always exclusively turn it on myself once a day or a few times a week when I'm really busy. There was an issue where it wasn't turning on automatically every 4 hours, and I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement at no charge! They sent me the new 3 in 1 model and I am really glad they did because my cat loves the extra butterfly toy. And it's really nice that its chargable so you don't have to tether it to a wall plug. My only suggestion for the company is to have a mode that's the opposite of the Dark Mode, instead have a Light Mode where it turns off in the day and on at night. This is because our cats sleep all day and are awake all night. When we're on vacation and it's running every 4 hours we only want it on at night when they are active, otherwise they become desensitized to the sound of it turning on all the time.
