Amazon Customer: I a true blue instant pot customer, but I am really getting tic,d off. They keep breaking down! I relie on my pots( plural) and it's been one thing after another - they just stop working! I think the latest problem is the fuse-that I can't get to because of a stripped screw. REALLY!! Does that mean that someone else has had it opened or repaired it before? I have bought several pots and am thinking I should switch brands! So long instant pot!!! I love you, but you don't love me!

Martha J. HicksMartha J. Hicks: I purchased the white instant pot to match our white cabinets and appliances. It blends into the kitchen decor nicely and minimizes a cluttered look on the counter. (I took that idea a step further by buying an adhesive "subway tile" designed covering for the stainless steel sides, which goes great with our backsplash.) My family and I marvel over how cute it is.

Anyway, my Instant Pot works perfectly. I am using glass inserts (Anchor Hocking) for pot-in-pot cooking to keep any trace of nickel out of my food. (I've found that several glass containers by that company--even a 64-oz. canister made of thick dishwasher safe glass-- works perfectly for pressure cooking in the Instant Pot.) Please Note: I set the glass container inside the removable stainless steel inner pot. (And, per recommendations, always poor a cup of water in that metal pot too.) Additionally, I use the Instant Pot silicone sling (separate accessory) to easily take the smaller glass container in and out of the Instant Pot. I learned that I have to increase the cooking time when using the glass containers. For example, to cook split pea soup (1 cup dry peas + 3 cups water + 2 sliced carrots), I pressure cook...

TracyTracy: Got this as an early xmas present. I love it! I’ve made Olive Garden zuppa toscana and pulled pork buns so far. Delicious! Pulled pork came out super tender and flavourful! I google recipes for new dishes and instructions. Love the sauté mode making it 1 pot to dirty in the house! And it’s 1/10th the time to cook than a slow cooker with the same results. 👌 Buy it you won’t regret it!

Kindle Customer: I bought this one for a friend she loves it I have one also but just not this color. This one tho she said that when u let go of pressure it goes crazy but I do know that it better to make sure it off then let go the pressure when its still got for the first couple times of using it I found that after it doesn't go crazy when letting go of pressure if it stop and goes on stay warm. I might get this one when my black one stop working or when I just want different color lol

I've have the Instant Pot for 3 months now and use it regularly. I mostly use it to cook dry beans from scratch. It'll probably take some time to make back the investment of the Instant Pot in dry beans savings but yeh know... Cooking dry beans from scratch the old-fashioned way is time consuming and rarely seems to result in tender beans, but I wanted more vegan whole foods and varied nutrition in my diet so I needed a better way to cook them without relying on canned beans.

For this purpose, the Instant Pot has been great. Almost any type of bean can be cooked from dry- no soaking!- to perfect tenderness. The one exception I have encountered is chickpeas, which do better with an overnight soak. I can also cook things like bean chilis and dahl from dry beans and lentils in the Instant Pot and have a meal on hand in a short amount of time.

I haven't used the Instant Pot for much else, as a lot of the Instant Pot recipes out there are not vegan friendly. A few recipes have made it into my rotation, but not many.

The Instant Pot also sucks a cooking rice....

YayaYaya: Exceeds my expectations! My husband works full time so I'm usually on my own until 7pm lost days. I'm a busy stay at home mom trying to eat right, and breastfeed my 4 month old as well as exercise and to keep my older son entertained during quarantine.
I really wanted to try this to see if I could make better use of my time during my longggg days.

I've used it everyday since I got it and have made the most amazing and delicious meals! This is the first time in forever no fast food all wkd!

Definitely recommend this to everyone!!!

H A Theodora: Need a quick lunch or dinner? This is it! Fresh, frozen, have way defrosted meat or poultry, it doesn’t matter. Stick it in the pot with some veggies (even root veggies), with a cup to cup and 1/2 of water or broth and you have soup or a stew. This pot has been a lifesaver for me. I do not like to cook or put time into cooking. But I like my food to taste great lol.. So before this pot I would only buy a few things here and there but nothing I would consider a proper “meal”. But now, when I’m at a farmers market, I will stock up on vegetables and meat. I usually wouldn’t do this because the meat would go bad because I wouldn’t eat it quick enough and defrosting takes a lot of time and I never know when I’ll be hungry. So with this thing, when I’m hungry I can just pull out whatever I want and throw it in the pot; fresh or frozen. Also, when I have family over, I can make other things too. I cooked gluten free spaghetti and frozen meatballs (homemade) in 7 mins and it came out great. My brother made a delicious pot roast with potatoes and veggies in 23 minutes. Zoe Dagneault: I honestly love many things about this. There are tons of free recipes online for paleo~ plant based-keto, whatever your preferences are. it makes food fast~ and I save money as there are left overs for lunch etc. It does take some practice to get the timing of say meat- then opening and putting veggies in.Im sure in time Ill find a couple of tried and true easy one pot meals where I don't have to open and the restart. It also takes about 10 extra minute to pressurize before it begins the cooking time~ so if you come home at 5:15~ then prep and cut or brown for 20 minutes~ then put everything in the pot~ the have to reopen to place in veggies~ then reseal~ then wait to depressurize... you really arendt saving ton of time (depending on what you're cooking). Like you're eating around 7... So its good to have a plan and be able to start the process early. Also, if you're doing roast and potatoes I prefer to brown ingredients in cast iron skillet first~ so it does take more time on depending on personal preferences.
