Instant hot means no waiting for a cup of tea. I give it five stars for that. It’s easy to install, looks great with the clay fired sink. Not enough information in the description as the tap is tap only and does not include the boiler. Do not stick your finger under the hot tap to test for temperature, when the say instant hot they are not kidding!!

As other reviewers have mentioned, while this faucet is a well-built and beautiful, it is certainly overpriced when compared to the other offerings. Always try to get a "Used" model as most are returned for fitment or the original buyer getting the wrong item. The "Used" item I received was brand new but in damaged packing so well worth the $100 discount. It's no wonder InSinkErator can charge nearly 4x the price for this faucet over their other models since it's easily the best looking and most likely matches the fixtures of newer homes. When I can purchase a HOT150 kit with tank and faucet for $200 but the tank by itself costs $300, it's obvious the company knows what items sell and how to extract the most money from buyers.
The install is fairly straight forward and, so long as you have the correct size hole in your countertop, it's a 30 minute job. The instructions that came with the faucet specified 1-3/8 to 1-1/2 inch hole. After installing this on a 1-1/2 inch hole I would recommend the smaller 1-3/8 as the rubber O-ring seal would fit much better although the tubing fitment would be much tighter.

We bought and installed this along with a "InSinkErator HWT-F1000S, One Size, Silver" under cabinet water heater/filter and a Delta Essa faucet. First off, they look terrific together. Secondly, this little faucet cost as much as a touch-controlled, voice activated faucet. Kinda crazy.
But, of all the items, this is by far the highest quality. The finish is superb, and the tolerances are super tight. There is nothing wobbly about this. It is all smooth, all the time. From the swing nozzle to the handle, it just feels good. In addition, installation was the easiest of all the components.
It wasn't clear to me how it operated, so I'll explain:
* To operator, you must depress the lever. This is for either cold or hot water.
* You pull the handle forward for cold water. In this direction, it will stay on and not spring back
* You push the handle backward for hot water. In this direction, you must continue to push because it will spring back and off.
I fully support and appreciate this hot-water operation. The "HWT-F1000S" puts out scalding hot water. Honestly, it is steaming. I think safety dictates that this be as...

This is the only unit I have found that can dispense hot or cold (not refrigerated) water with the cold being able to be left on for filling juice or water bottles. The quality of the build is top notch, the installation was a bit fiddly but no real problems. The water filter seemed to take a while before it removed chlorine taste, but works fine and is extremely easy to change. It does not take much space under the sink, and was a simple replacement for the useless soap dispenser.
The only downside was that it was difficult to find a perfect match for the kitchen faucet. I really like the design of this dispenser, but I was not able to find a perfect match for the design and finish. InSinkErator has a manufacturer's compatibility chart online, but as of 2017 almost all the design lines have changed. I ended up buying a M0EN from H0me Dep0t, it was close enough but not a perfect match.
