Jordan-Amanda Hall: Y’all remember when Hagan Daas discontinued their macadamia nut brittle ice cream??? This is the best replacement for that flavor. Not only that the icecream is waaaay more creamier. I’m addicted to Jenni’s Icecream at this point. So glad I can buy it in the store. Amazon is ahead of the game with this icecream on the shelf.

Then I had a chance to sample Jeni's ice cream at the Atlanta location (starting with a local, seasonal Sweet Corn flavor that I dream about to this day), and I was immediately and permanently converted. This is seriously rich and satisfying ice cream, a balanced blend of salty and sweet. Thanks to the high fat content, just a single spoonful or two is sufficient to squash a craving, and I find I can stretch out a pint of Jeni's much longer than a pint of Ben and Jerry's. I thought that the Brown Butter Almond Brittle would be "meh" as far as flavors go, but it's become one of my favorites. (Strangely, it's the Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks that's my least favorite Jeni's flavor: it feels grainy and less rich, where most other chocolate peanut butter ice creams are butter-smooth and deeply indulgent.)

If you're looking for ice cream for a party, to share, or to consume in volume - this isn't it. But if you're looking for a special snack for yourself... I have three words for you: Add. To. Cart.
