Gail: I use this for camping, was pretty inexpensive. Easy dial and coil reg size. It recently fell out of the top cabinet , hit counter and onto the floor. Well figured it was done for. Nope worked great, didnt break. Very light weight. Would recommend use with a small generator or electrical power to heat a pot of coffee or quick meal. Little space and cools down quickly.

E: I needed this so that I could fry fish for a party outside. It started out working very well but then I noticed that it would not keep the oil hot enough so I ended up frying the fish inside, which is what I wanted to avoid. I do think this portable eye will be good for other things so I am not upset with the purchase especially since it was not that expensive. Had it been more expensive, I would have been extremely upset.

Yassine: i bought an IMUSA USA Electric Single Burner, Black , after 1 week of use the burner stoped working .

i contacted amazon .. for a replacement .. they refused to return it or replace it .. they asked me to contact the manufacture , but the manufacture has a very bad Customer service , and they told me contact amazon , its under 30 days warranty . now both are refusing my warranty .. what to do ?

siti amirah haji yussof: Bought this to use at a hotel for light cooking during our last trip.
It works well heats up fast but it does go to really hot really fast then stops, but for my purpose it works! I got a small pan to go with this and it was heated fast.
Nice for travel where there is no kitchen and you got to do light cooking.

Would definitely use again for our next trip out of town!

Kitcat73: We recently had floors replaced, the gas range was also tossed because mice had taken up residence..eww..so we ordered two of these burners to tide us over until we find the Right stove.
Received them today, planned spaghetti for dinner. The pot I used for boiling noodles was twice the size of the burner, so I figured I'd have an issue there (I read other reviews) so I heated the water for 15 minutes, shut heat off, 3 times (the electric burner thermostat shuts off when temperature is reached..the third time, water was staeming but just 174°F..about 50°F short of boiling..but I dumped the pasta in anyway, it took maybe ½ hrs for thin pasta, but it DID cook a tad more than aldented.
The other burner did a great job in heating up the jar of spaghetti sauce (the Italian sausage had been nuked earlier, then sliced up)
My only problem was length of time to boil 3 qt water, but I allowed extra time because I'd read the reviews and knew what to expect..
I can see how handy these would be in a camping or RV, they rescued us from more crock pot and take-out Chinese dinners!

Amazon Customer: I bought this when we were getting kitchen renovations done and didn't have a stove top. It has done the trick beautifully. It's very easy to use and it warms up quickly.
