Doug: I bought an 8-pack of these to replace very old Panasonic batteries in a cordless Panasonic phone set. Unfortunately, Panasonic phone sets often consist of 5 phones plus the base, and each phone gets 2 batteries, and I saw no way to get a package of 10. Closest was 12, and at the price you're essentially wasting two batteries worth of money.
There's a picture on the listing of a shelf life chart. It says at one year, 95%. At two years, 90%. At three years, 75%. I'm not sure what this means. Is it . . .
1) After sitting on the shelf for 3 years, the remaining charge is 75%? That seems unlikely. The phone base required roughly 5 hours to get these up to full charge, meaning that they've been sitting on the shelf for a lot longer than 3 years.
or
2) At 3 years (of use? after manufacture?), they have 75% of their life left. That would mean that they have at most a total life of 12 years, probably less as the numbers aren't linear. That would be disappointing as the original Panasonic batteries lasted over 20 years.
So if you're depending on the listing data to make an informed purchase, I don't think the data will help with that. Plus these Panasonic...

Rebecca J.: Rechargeable batteries for my phones I will say the ones I had in it or original and the phones got to the point where they couldn't keep a charge going very long, rather than investing in a whole new set of phones which I have five different locations, I tried ordering the batteries. They came in a timely manner they fit right in and the phones are keeping a charge now so as far as that they're excellent, it is a bit hard to rave about batteries, but they worked.

noddy: These batteries are absolutely brilliant hold their charge well which you need on a wander phone,real value for money compared to the Panasonic replacement batteries nearly a third of the price and eight compared to the two. Really quick delivery as well so highly recommended.
