Ashley: I like it so far for the most part. It’s definitely way over priced currently $60 for this? But it was the only one I could find on here that was just the bed shaker itself and not one attached to an alarm clock because the problem is I have multiple alarm clocks I just end up turning them off in my sleep. I don’t know how but I usually go throw 3 alarms before I actually wake up and I don’t remember at all shutting the alarms off. The level 5 vibrations on this is strong and I’m hoping it’s enough to shock me awake. I haven’t got to fully test it out yet because both morning so far I haven’t been in a deep sleep and was already awake and forgot I had the alarm on but it did shake and go off. The only thing I didn’t like when I did that was as soon as you pick it up the shaking stops. So I will have to wait for a day I sleep in to tell if it truly gets me up but if it goes off that fast when it’s moved or picked up I might still be able to shut it off in my sleep. Also I don’t like the snooze button on this I wish it was only on my phone that I can’t get into the app without getting into my actual phone that I don’t think I can do in my sleep. The on off...

Uninstall the app “SmartShaker3”.
Remove the pairing record of “SmartShaker3” under the Bluetooth menu of your phone. (Go into your phone settings and into the Bluetooth settings and look for smartshaker 3 and unpair it.)
Install the app “SmartShaker3”.
Slide the switch to on position on the SmartShaker 3 device.
Press and hold the snooze button for 10 seconds until there is a one time vibration.
Open the app and click “Next” till the Searching page.
The searching can take up to 3 minutes to finish.
Then it should pick up your smartshaker, pair it and then all should work again.

I think it more has to do with your phone that gets updated by your phone manufacturer like Samsung or apple, etc that stuffs up the smartshaker so it just needs to be re-paired again as per the steps above. After I paired mine again, I tested the alarm by setting a time 2 min to go off and it worked. I noticed that it is on the same time as my time now that we're in daylight savings, in Australia but when not in daylight savings mode in our country, they shaker app time is a hour ahead of...

Matt Herold: I am hard of hearing and can't hear my iPhone ring when I take my hearing aids out. I rarely need something that I can rely on to wake me up if someone calls but I had a need, needed it quick, found this on Amazon and pulled the trigger.
I actually had one of these from about 5 years ago. I found it and plugged it in, charged it up but it is dead. I considered another brand because of this but Li ion batteries don't last forever, especially if they're used. The iLuv is less expensive than the other brand I found so I decided to give them another chance.
As someone else wrote in another review, this company seems to have been continually improving this product. It shows.
The shaker comes neatly packed in a box with nice, easy to read instructions. All I had to do is charge it a bit, turn on my iPhone and it paired with the app and bluetooth seamlessly. From there it is as easy as opening the app and either scheduling an alarm or just letting it do it's magic.
This thing actually and incredibly works for everything I need, which is, in order of importance, phone calls, Teams calls (most people these days work for companies where coworkers insist on calling you via Teams...

TrischTrisch: The app is not great, so if you have to change your alarm time often, it might be a sore point for you, but if you use the same time alarm on a set schedule, then that part won’t bug you too much. You can set up to 3 alarms and each one you decide what time it goes off and what days of the week you want it to repeat (aka Mon-Fri).

Now for the really bad part though, which hopefully has been fixed by a recent firmware update they sent out (shaker updates via the app)… The shaker would randomly decide to stop responding. The only way to get it functioning again was to poke the reset hole, the lights would then flash red and it vibrates super loud and then it’s awake again. Not great to have to do if you have someone else asleep nearby who has hearing.

And of course, the only way to see if it’s functional is to edit an alarm time (at which point it will flash white to indicate data transfer), or flip the active trigger on and off (it’s not an actual device on/off button, it just silences the device), and when you flip it back on, it lights up and vibrates, which again is disruptive if you’re doing this right before bed.
