Dave Gallays: For the size of this cooler and a couple of upgrades I did. This works great for my purposes, which is camping in a wall tent, and not being my freezer the igloo.

Joey T.Joey T.: There are many reviews suggesting adding a seal and fortifying the screws, these tips make this cooler a better comp to the much more expensive versions out there. Back out the screws and add your choice of adhesive or sealant and reinstall. The screws don't have anything to bite on in the lid (bad design) but the glue locks them in. Go to Lowes and buy foam window seal, 1/2 x 1/4 for $4.50 and it fits perfectly in the groove on the lid. After you get it started you can gently stretch and it'll sit down in the channel a little easier. You can also unscrew the lanyard, lift the lid straight up (hinges quick release - good design) and do this on a flat surface to make it easer. Pics provided. good luck!

Mela: In one year of having owned this cooler, it has gone on 2 camping trips and 2 family reunions. It has had very light use and is stored in a safe, dry area when not in use. The only positive thing I can say is that it has held ice well for the 2 camping trips which each spanned 3 days.

The metal plate at the bottom of the front of the cooler is cheap and the plastic has broken around it, so it’s nearly fallen off. That’s not really a functional piece of the cooler but shows cheap craftsmanship. The back right hinge had both screws attaching the lid to the body of the cooler both fell off after the last use. We needed a screwdriver to put them back in, but couldn’t feel much of a threading once they were put back in, so I’m expecting those to fall out again at next use. The cheap plastic pieces that “hold” the 2 latches on the front of cooler in place have both come out and probably need to be super glued back in so the cooler can stay shut and sealed when not in use. I can’t imagine what else would go wrong with this in very limited usage.

I understand that this isn’t the top of the line cooler but for the cost I also wasn’t...

REGNIER: Enfin une glacière qui permet de tout garder au frais ale temps du weekend

Alycia Cowan: We were on the hunt for some coolers for hunting season this year, and were looking for a more budget friendly option compared to yetis or something similar. Was a little skeptical because the lid has no gasket like other rotomolded coolers do, but this cooler held up amazing. It held ice for well over a week out in the woods. It stood up to getting thrown around and sitting out in the elements. It was well worth the money and saved me a pretty penny compared to my other options. Highly recommend.

justen: UPDATE: 9/7/2021
contacted igloo and had me fill out an online thing. Wasn't expecting to receive an email saying they were sending out a new cooler to us! We received new cooler (same size, different color) this morning!! Very impressed with their actions. Let's hope this one doesn't do the sam thing

Got this cooler mid-July and just barely loaded it up for its first camping trip. Husband opened the lid and screw fell out. We are highly disappointed cuz it keeps ice great (3 days, 80ish degree weather) but we will definitely look at other brands before buying this product again

Kelly Kennedy: Bought this as a return from the warehouse. I'm very pleased with it. Looks badass. If you keep it in the shade and have it properly cooled off before you ice it down and then keep it in the shade when you get where you're going, it will hold ice for three days and then some. THAT SAID: I usually fill and freeze empty 2 liter soda bottles with water and put them in the bottom of my coolers before I go camp.

It seems a little more durable than the run of the mill Igloo coolers, but don't expect Yeti or Pelican quality on the materials... but then, you aren't paying Yeti or Pelican prices for these either. I'd put it at high mid-grade in terms of materials.

I've taken our Yeti camping during the triple digit days of summer, and I've taken this one... and so far, they hold up equally on keeping ice. For longer trips, I think four days is going to be the most you get out of the Igloo.

Personal test: My first weekend using it we went to the lake for three days. Temps were in the mid-90s, ultra high humidity. Without the frozen 2 liter/block ice, it kept pillow ice for the three days with little melting. I intentionally left it on the...
