James: This thing was awesome for about a year or so. It’s not something you need everyday unless you are doing pipe work regularly on the job, but it’s very handy when you do. The magnets were decent and it seemed very accurate. I keep it in an impact resistant case and charged it often. One day it it just started giving crazy angles and just completely failed. Still looks new but crapped out already. Used to cost between $30-35 and now I see it’s almost $50. I’ll be replacing it with a Klein cube. It’s $30 and from a manufacturer I trust. Klein is known for quality and it’s $20 cheaper then this iGaging one.

RoninFla: Don't get me wrong, I like this a lot, it is just that there is a learning curve to get accurate readings. Once you figure that out and check every time you measure, it works very well. That being said, it is the only one I have used, so have no others to compare to. Recommended.

Steven Gearhart: After buying another brand that would NEVER read 90.0 degrees, I bought this one to try. It has magnets on all four sides, as opposed to only on the bottom. This unit allowed me to set my saw blade exactly 90 and this was tested on both sides of the blade. I also verified this with a precision square. To add to its value, it has USB charging, as opposed to having to have a spare battery at the ready. I only wish I had bitten the bullet earlier and just bought this device. It would have saved a lot of frustration.

Robin Wilkinson: It's a good little tool, but there are a couple of things.... Firstly, the resolution goes down to 0.05 degrees, but it claims an accuracy of +/- 0.2 degrees. So, it's not for doing fine work. I use it to set the angle of my knife sharpener so it's adequate, but you probably wouldn't want to build a house with it. The only other gripe is that the display is hard to read if you're not looking straight at it which can be a pain in tight places.

Other than that, it's pretty good.

Hank W: I must have spent about an hour looking at all Chinese cube levels/angle gauges - comparing their prices and features. I like to spend a little more and get quality tools, so they last longer. Over time, this strategy has definitely worked for me. This iGuage cube seems to hit the mark. It has magnets on 3 sides. The body is made from what looks to be cast aluminum alloy. While they could have had a native USA speaking person proof read the instructions, like a lot of Chinese companies, they failed in that respect. It is fairly easy to use, so there is no great issue there. This unit charges via USB, so there are no batteries to change or go bad and ooze inside your gauge, so that is good. It may be bad if/when it comes time when it no longer holds a charge. That could be 5+ years from now. They refer to a colored charging light in the instructions - Red is low and Green is charged. That must have been for the prototype - this product doesn't have red or green lights. There is a little battery icon in the upper right part of the display that flashes when charging and stays on when fully charged. There is no battery indication when the product is in use. Howard Hardy: This is an amazing little tool. I use it for tool set up often. The feature that allows you to zero to your tool is extremely valuable. I am obsessed with having things level, plumb and square so I carry this with me a lot and have many uses for it in addition to tool set up. The internal usb rechargeable battery is so much better than needing to change out batteries. You just need a micro usb cable and a charging port. I had a problem with the first one delivered. The indicating led to let you know if it is charging and then fully charged was not working. I put in a call to customer service. Their message said to leave a phone number and they would return my call. They called in just a few minutes. I described the issues to the tech I spoke with. He stated that he was not positive how the led indicator should work but that he would find out and return my call. He call back in about 10 minutes and said that it did appear that the unit was faulty and advised me to initiate a return on Amazon.
