bbmstang: Units were easy to install. They give off plenty of light. One complaint is that the blue charging indicator led is very bright.

Annette C.: I've had my emergency light for 10 years and its just now starting to dim. The hydro here goes out quite often and for long periods of time. Maybe the constant use of my light extended the life of the battery, I don't know. But there is no burnt circuit board or any other damage. This is an awesome product, keeps me feeling safe in my building when the power goes out and provides instant light. All it needs is a $26.00 battery, no big deal.

Peter: Bright enough to light up a room on the low setting. 200 lumens is like a 25-30 watt incandescent bulb. These seem much brighter. I have 2 of these. They come on when power fails. Original Battery still holding a charge. When the battery fails you can replace with the same standard 6V 4AH battery used by emergency lights in commercial buildings -- widely available and cheap.

petitm: I've had this light for years on my plant shelf in my foyer, use it as a night light. It's awesome when the power goes out, it lights up my entire front hallway/foyer and upstairs. I'm looking to get more of these for other locations. reasonably priced and so far for me works like a dream.

Frank ToledoFrank Toledo: Purchases in Feb 2019 and found the led were really dim now in Jan 2023. Thought the battery needed to be replaced as they do every so often. Noticed the board was burnt and not the battery. Now I will need to replace the whole light.

For lasting more then three years I can't complain. Really with I could just replace the battery.

Melton in the Virgin Islands: I installed it under my house porch in the event of power outage I will have lights to my entrance door. It works very well there.
I am disappointed that during power outage in the day times or night time, the light comes on and stays on until power is restored. I wanted the light to come on only at night time power outage. Thanks for it and I will make it work for me now.

Aeroboffin: Although we have not had a power interruption since I installed the device, I am happy to know that the device is there when we need it (and it will be needed)!! The device has a neat appearance and the light output is good. The device needs to be permanently connected to an electrical outlet to keep the batteries charged. A mains power converter and wire to the unit is supplied.

There are provisions to mount the device on a wall, or is has 'feet' so that it could also be placed on a counter-top adjacent to an electrical outlet with wiring hidden behind the device.

Nicolas A.Nicolas A.: Un beau produit, petit et discret. Facile à accrocher au mur. Il éclaire vraiment bien et longtemps. Met quelques secondes à s'allumer lorsque le courant est coupé (+/- 10 secondes) mais rien de dramatique.

En revanche, j'ai appuyé sur le bouton test aujourd'hui et il ne s'allume plus.
J'ouvre alors pour voir le modèle de batterie pour en acheter une nouvelle. (Celle-ci fait un bruit de maracas quand on la secoue).

Mais je remarque la couleur du circuit imprimé qui est tout noirci, grillé. J'ai acheté le produit il y a environ 2 ans et il est déjà défectueux. Pour un produit sensé avoir un usage de ''sécurité" j'ai peur qu'il ne mette le feu chez moi ! Je vais devoir en acheter un autre, probablement d'une autre marque. Dommage, car j'aime beaucoup son design.

D. Aramaki: I was gifted a pair of these by a friend. The power doesn't go out often where I live, but it finally did for the first time after I set them up and it's amazing how much light they give off, even in the half power mode (there are 6 LEDs and the device can be set up to use either 3 or 6, so as to improve battery life). I liked them so much that after the recent power outage, I bought another two. These give a lot of peace of mind; I'd hate to be in the shower at night or stuck upstairs and have to deal with pitch darkness.

These are also bright enough that I can set them up so I can actually do things during a power outage at night, like read, or even just use my notebook or tablet for a while, since I really don't like using those devices in pitch black.

The other benefit is that these have a lot of utility for portable lighting situations. For example, my kitchen sink faucet got a bit loose and required some tightening underneath with a basin wrench. It was so nice to just pop one of these into the sink cabinet and have the whole workarea be completely lit up.
