Blanche PintoBlanche Pinto: The media could not be loaded. My cat Lucy loves this toy! She uses her back feet to attack the flappy tail and squeezes the life out of it lol! She loves hunting the little mice too, she tries and curves around the door, throws them up in the air and attacks them. We usually don’t find those little mice after we give them to her, she tends to kill and stash them in her hiding spots (probably under the couch). Overall, I think these toys are really good at engaging a cat’s hunt and kill instinct. The battery life on the fish is also quite long, I bought it over two weeks ago and haven’t had to charge it even once.

Racbrown: Right out of the box Mousikkis pounced on the fish. I thought I bought the best cat toy ever but realized within a few minutes that he was only interested in the smell....catnip. The floppy motorized fish motion wasn’t the appeal and when the smell wore off he was done. I “marinated” it in a bag of catnip and he liked it again for a brief time but it’s not a go to toy at all. He prefers other rolling type toys. Maybe it’s just my cat...

Nichole Wolfe:
Pros:
Cat with the fish is adorable
Cat loves the fish and constantly rubs against it, chews on it, bunny kicks it
Fish has belly pouch with catnip in so its easy to fill with more catnip (or a squeaky toy and really make her crazy)
Machine washable
The mechanical part comes out easy so she could play with it while it charges
Cons:
The mechanical part. Everything about it. It takes forever to charge. Its unbelievably loud. It moves with a huge amount of force and my cat is afraid of it. It also makes the fish so heavy she can't pick it up and play with it, if its inside.
Maybe other cats would like the moving part? Maybe if they don't mind loud grinding sounds?
I would probably buy the toy again and just remove the mechanical part. Its worth it just watch my large generally regal cat make sure we 'aren't' looking, then throw a giant goldfish into the air, catch it, pounce it, and proceed to bunny kick the crap out of it while making chitter noises.

S. Phillips:
I bought this fish for my cat while my grandma was watching her for me (keeping her safe during cross country move). My grandma and my niece had a blast setting up the fish for my cat and watching her attack it over and over. My cat is now 13 years old and it brought out the kitten in her. Being able to recharge it is very convenient. No bad things to say about it at this point. Would buy again!
UPDATE: The baby loves it too!!
UPDATE #2: Cat is completely bored with it (she is elderly) but my 9 month old baby still loves it. So funny to now see it advertised as a baby toy! We must not be the only ones that had the kid steal it from kitty.

K.G.: My cats are terrified of this thing and it's freakin' hilarious. 5/5 would scare again
and more importantly it works and does what it's supposed to do and came with everything needed (usb charge cord). It has a bit of a servo noise of course (no avoiding that) so that may turn some pets off. The tail wag is soft enough that even though it looks dramatic if your kitty is in it's way it'll stop on them and it wont hurt them or anything. It cycles through some slightly different patterns of movement too, like sometimes it's faster or has shorter "bursts" with longer "rest" intervals. Don't know how long it'll last but hey it's a cat toy, your cat is already bored with it. Came with some small mice toys that the kittens snatched up right away so very nice
