Michelle L. Beck: My husband is a mountain bike enthusiast, so I ordered these with him in mind. His mountain bike came with lock-in petals, which provide more traction. BUT it is also more difficult to stop or even put your foot down when they are snapped into the petals. Unfortunately, it took him falling and having difficulty getting his feet out the petals, to make him decide that he needed some flexibility. Really a different option. Now he isn’t limited to just biking shoes. Regular tennis shoes are an option. These pedals make his bike more versatile. This set by Hysenm comes with two pedals, a left and a right. Each pedal has 12 metal pegs so that your feet won’t slip off. Now he has plenty of leverage so those HILLS won’t be so cumbersome and difficult to conquer. Overall, these are great pedals for the buck!
