Definitely works to hold brooms and mops. But if mops are wet they slide down a little. Still good for the price.

Overall I liked the rack. Storage hooks well placed. Hardware seems flimsy and I wish I had used different screws/anchors to install but otherwise like it more than many others I've bought including more expensive and name brand racks.
