The company contacted me through Amazon a few days after I posted the review below. They sent me replacement lights, all four of which work perfectly-no flickering at all. Updating my review to four stars in recognition of good customer service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW SEPTEMBER 2021:
Installed these to light a 14x8 foot workbench. Out of the box, two of the switches worked intermittently. Minus three stars. I would have returned them to the store, except we bankrupted all the local retailers by purchasing everything from Amazon.
After repairing the two switches, these work fine. Lights that are four feet long, spaced three feet apart, cancel out each other's shadows on the workbench. Happy with the light color and intensity, unhappy with the quality.
Also, please note: This package contains four fixtures, each with a switch on a plug-in cord, plus hanging hardware. That's it. "Linkable" means that you can plug one fixture into the end of the next. If you turn off the switch on the first light in the chain, the three downstream lights turn off as well. Plan your installation accordingly.

These lamps replaced some 40-year-old fluorescents in my garage. They are lighter, brighter, have better color balance, and were simple to install -- just hung in place of what they replaced. It will be interesting to see how long they last in my damp environment.

These lights were delivered immediately and I've already installed them in my basement. They are lightweight and provide plenty of light. I had to drill a few holes to line up with the floor joists, but no problem since the design of the light will allow you to do that without having to worry about drilling into any wiring or components. Only one problem during my installation was when I plugged one light into the others available plug it didn't want to come back out. The whole plug seems to be kind of loose so I left it plugged in, fearing that I might pull something loose. Other than that these lights are an inexpensive way to provide a lot of light without using a lot of energy.
