Traci: I have a huge aquarium for my son's turtle and I absolutely hate cleaning the tank. Hate it. Takes forever to do. I got this to help when you have just a small amount of water at the bottom after draining where you just cannot get the last couple cups. This is really easy to use, good suction and helps get the water out. I actually think I will also use this when I drain my hot tub and there is still water left that is just below the drain and unless I get out a wetvac to get it out, is a complete pain to drain the water. This does not use any electricity so I think you can use it in any location you need to get water out of.

Joey: This works good enough, the tube that actually vacuums the rocks is a bit small, so at first the rocks were getting sucked up, but using the water flow regulator to pinch off the hose a little bit, it worked great. The trigger is really handy to start the suction of the water, VERY convenient. You don’t have to even get your hands wet. The outlet hose is a bit wound up at first but give it some time. The clip for the hose works ok, it slips around on the buckets I use and the hose can slide up and down, but not too much of an issue, very good suction overall and cleans rocks/gravel very well. Would recommend, easy to use and very durable. It’s a good deal for the cost as well.

RLewis: Bought this to clean the sand bed in a 140 gallon reef tank. Once it gets going, the suction is very good. I especially appreciate using this to remove bubble algae from the tank. I wish the outflow tubing was not so stiff because it’s hard to pinch the tubing to slow the outflow rate. Sometimes sand gets drawn up too quickly into the filter mechanism and clogs up the unit. The other thing I would have liked is an additional 1-2 ft length of outflow tubing. The current tubing is just barely long enough and stiff. As a result, I had a few spills and messes with the tube being accidentally pulled out of the dirty water container while i was cleaning the tank. The clip provided doesn’t really hold the tube in place very well. Despite the issues I’ve described, I still like the performance of this cleaner and would buy it again.

DeezNutz: Honestly this product is well thought out for the most part and would be great if it didn't leak out of the suction head.
I took it apart to see what the issue was. They do have O rings in there but for some reason it still leaks and i can't figure out why.
Would not reccomend buying this due to that fact... If they fixed this issue, i'd say go ahead and buy one as it's a great product otherwise.

J. Sayler: It... well, mine sucks small amounts of air unless the front end of the handle portion is submerged.
That's very trivial and barely note-worthy so
I recommend this product.

Jen: I love this!!! Why did it take me so long to finally buy this type?! The other gravel cleaners I can never get to work....unless I stick a turkey Baxter in the end of the hose to start it...or suck on the hose to get it going. So gross. I got a battery operated one and it came with no instructions and so many pieces I honestly found it to be intimidating. Then I found a second hand battery operated one. I was able to use it one time and then it never worked again. So I finally ordered this because my neighbor says they're amazing and let me tell you. I love it!! Its not the fastest but it gets the job done and my fish aren't scared. My only complaint is I feel like you have to keep squeezing the trigger to get it to keep emptying the water nonstop. And as someone that has had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists it can get tender but my 9 year old thinks this is the coolest so I'm hoping that I can get him to help with water changes more often.
