Get the job done with the HYCHIKA BETTER TOOLS FOR BETTER LIFE Store!Michael Wouters: It took me a bit to install the chain, never done that before, but was actually easier than I thought. Just make sure you got it on the right way, it fits in the chain guide, easy to do. Mount the bolt and put the cap back on. You can easily tighten the chain once it's on with their system. I don't know if this works on all chainsaws, since this is my first, but it makes sense and is easy. The chain break lever works good too, should have a clearer indication on it to show if it's locked or not, but towards the blade it's on, towards yourself is off, you figure it out. Batteries are powerful and last quite a while. I added the oil and haven't changed it yet. They say you need to empty it before storage, but it doesn't leak and i will use it a few more times this season. Prob good to take the oil out in the winter time before proper storage. Only downside is that the chain cover doesn't really fit and easily falls off. That's wonky. But then again, you only use that for transport and i take the batteries off anyway, so it's not dangerous. They could have fixedd that a bit better. Overall a really good machine for the price. And cuts perfect. Had the chain come off...

Amazon Customer: Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. I thought I found a deal, but instead discovered why this is the cheapest battery operated chainsaw available. The saw blade would not run, despite the batteries being fully charged, turned on, safety button engaged; etc. The instructions were of no use, and purely there for liability reasons (provide warnings regarding misuse); rather than imparting Any actual useful information regarding the saw’s construction, maintenance, storage, etc. 0/5 Stars, go buy Anything else.

Timothy C Welsh:
Good lightweight chainsaw. Comes with two batteries and charger . Batteries have decent life even with continuous use on higher chain speed. It IS economical BUT chains do not seem to stay sharp long and need replaced often. (I use mine to cut saplings and small branches)
Chain tends to constantly come off bar. Spent more time replacing chain on bar than actually cutting. Does NOT seem to have ability to cut very large diameter branches (trees) . i.e. Over 4 inches. Overall it is ok for what I need.

Mummear : Having been around the track a few times I can say that chainsaws are one of the most disagreeable tools on the planet. The gas ones are a pain to start and or keep running, and the electric ones are cheaply made and or cut badly. I had reached my breaking point with these machines but decided to give it one more try, however I decided to go off the map and try a brand not generally as well know. That's when I discovered Hychika. It got good reviews, I liked what I saw, and so gave it a try. It arrived packaged well and setup was very straight forward and quick. The chain tensioner is the best of any chainsaw I ever used, very simple and intuitive, and if long use causes slack, it can be re-tensioned in seconds. The batteries both charged fully in just over an hour and I gave it a real workout. I don't recall exactly how long I used it before it went dead, but it was FAR longer than I expected, and in fact I had done all I had hoped to do that first day and was doing more the following day on the initial charge. It was fairly deep on the second day when the batteries finally drained. I was very impressed, and the saw cuts so good most of the work was...
