B. Diane Draffin: Totally silent fan. Has light and three speeds, although the highest speed didn’t provide as much cooling as I had hoped.

beckyburrows: I like the fact it's all white going up against a ceiling. We put it in the kitchen to move the air around while doing summer cooking. It's extremely quiet. Looks good. The light is bright enough so that I don't have to use all the other lighting in the kitchen.
Great value for the money. My husband had previously bought a hunter fan from a box store and paid twice the money for quality a little less in my estimation.
Install wasn't difficult as he's an electrician. But he did have a slight difficulty with one screw lining up and it almost stripped. But is all up and running and I couldn't be happier. Glad I read alot of reviews on a lot of fans.

vonnie: Delighted to say the fans (I bought two) look great, the remotes work reliably, and the fans are quiet. I usually use the middle speed, and sometimes the lowest just to "stir the air". The handyman who installed for me did have a little trouble installing, but I can't remember the exact problem.

Cat Mann: When our old Hampton Bay (big-box store house-brand) fan died a year ago, I was not looking forward to replacing it. While we have a home warranty, the deductible is about $125, so paying less than that for a new fan v.s. a repaired/reconditioned fan by the home warranty company made more sense.
I did what one should always do, pull everything out of the box, spread it out on the floor, account for everything (it was all there), read through all the steps, and organize what goes where, and at what stage.
Hunter was very thoughtful in tagging both the instructions and the clear plastic parts bag(s) with unique symbols (squares, triangles, circles, etc.) , so you know what parts to work with at each step. I purposefully went very slowly so I wouldn't have to take things apart and re-install them. It took the better part of the afternoon.
Pulling the old fan was a pain by myself, but luckily,
- there is a Hampton Bay fan removal how-to video on YouTube, and
- there were two unused mounting options (yes, still left in the ceiling) available to me, and when I pulled all the old unneeded stuff, the Hunter fan's mounting instructions really made more sense once...

Wulfy: First off, 1 important caveat … BEWARE OF PRICE FLUCTUATIONS when purchasing from Amazon!!! Literally, a week to the day after I ordered this, the price skyrocket from $120ish to $236.08. I am SO happy that I ordered when I did so as not to get ripped off!
I am totally pleased with this item … SO quiet, looks great and circulates the air to do the trick in my living room of approximately 20' X 20' {maybe slightly larger, no more than 24' X 24'}. The electrician installed it with ease yesterday, all except the part for the remote control that I bought separately. That gave him some difficulty and required at least 10 minutes until he managed to finagle it into the space that was a very tight fit.
If you're looking to buy the remote that's compatible with this unit {$34 as of early August, 2019}, the link for it is in the question/answer section.
Excellent purchase "IF" the price is reduced again.

Tammy: Very hard to install and now there’s always a loud clicking sound. The faster it goes the worse it gets. Don’t have the energy to take it down but if someone would show up here with s replacement and reinstall it, I’d be your new spokes person because other then that it’s a beautiful fan.

R. Taubmann: Great fan! Replaced older, noisy fan in the bedroom so can leave on all night. On low and medium, can't hear a thing - S-I-L-E-N-T! On high, there is a faint noise (but it's from the massive volume of air this thing moves on high speed!, not the fan). Zero hum. Would highly recommend this fan for bedrooms or anywhere else quiet air circulation is desired. Only downside is don't particularly like the light fixture, but detracts very minimally from overall satisfaction, so 5/5!

TZ from London, ON: Nice fan. Has 3 speeds for fan rotation, controlled by a pull chain on the side. There is a 2nd pull chain to control the light. There is also a wiring diagram for setting it up to be controlled by a wall switch.
Learn from my mistakes - the utility box that you hang the fan from must be rated to accept the weight of the fan. A typical utility box IS NOT rated for that weight! There are retrofit kits that you can get (I used an expansion bar that you could expand to span the rafters and give a nice solid support). Installation was way more of a pain than I thought it would be, but that is NOT a reflection on this unit. It is a more general issue of ceiling fan installations. Assembly and installation of the unit itself was straightforward once I had the appropriate utility box in place.
I gave this unit 4 out of 5, as it is not as low a profile as it could have been. They could easily have shave 2" off of it by having the light bulb install sideways, rather than having it install straight up and down. The motor housing is also quite "beefy". For a fan that only runs a couple hundred RPM, I don't understand why the motor + housing is as large as it is.

Santa Clara Nurse: Great fan. Installed as a flush-mount. No vibration or noise generated. I had a clicking sound a few weeks after installation, but this was because I over tightened the globe screws. Once I removed and reinstalled the globe and tightened appropriately, no more sound.
Moves air very well in the whole room. I also installed the matching remote control (Hunter) and this adds the ability to dim the light as well as adjust the fan speed without needing to manipulate the pull cord on the fan itself.
This can be installed to any ceiling as long as you have the ability to find the joist. In my installed room, there was no pre-existing mount or wiring. I did have one outlet that was operated by a wall switch. I purchased a long lamp cord and a stick on type wire protector to guide this wire up the surface of the wall and across the ceiling. I drilled a small hole in the shroud to allow for the wire to pass and protected this hole with a small grommet. Wired up and operating in less than two hours. For anyone installing into an existing setup, maybe an hour. The biggest time consumer was putting the blades together and securing them to the motor housing. No part of the...

Bones: Bought this Hunter flush mount fan in white w light kit but no remote. Ended up buying a harbor breeze remote to go with it. Velcro’d the receiver in fan housing so it would fit and not lay on motor. The only tricky part is lining up the fan mount bracing (attic) so the top housing of fan (room) is flush to ceiling with no gap between housing and ceiling. There’s no wiggle room, per se. Otherwise, typical Hunter quality.
