LynnedyLoo: Lovely fan just what we wanted. Our electrician had to google the wiring as there were no instructions as to which wire was which for UK buyers. Also the bulbs would not work as they were 120 V not 240 V.

Elsie Sparling: At first found this fan noisy but then realised it was because it was on a dimmer switch. Once changed to it was pretty quiet. Installation is definitely a 2 person job - preferably not a spouse or innocent child. Its helpful to have a magnetic screwdriver as you're working from the underside of the fan.

F. Walker: well worth the effort involved in putting it together - no remote control, that would have been an added bonus. I have severals Hunter fans throughout the condo and love 'em all. This one is quiet and provides a good airflow in a 400 sq ft area. Very happy with my purchase

Deborah F.: The packaging and instructions were great and easy to follow! You definitely need 2 people to install this unless you've got a secret extra arm... Shut off the breaker to the room you're installing the fan so make sure you have set up another source of light first so you can see what you're doing. Have a good ladder and, ideally 2 ladders so your helper can be up there with you.

The fan is nice in many ways. First, the blades have a light wood pattern on one side and plain white on the other. It was nice to have the option to choose the look we wanted. Second, there are two different sizes down poles so you can choose how low you want the fan to hang. We have a low ceiling where our fan is so we used the shorter one so it's closer to the ceiling. Third, the fan comes with the 2 bulbs intended to be used which is just a nice touch. They're bright LED bulbs. We don't have a remote and that wasn't important to us. The pull chains actually have an icon to identify which is the fan and which is the light. How many times did I pull the wrong one on other fans? Such a simple design and it really is a nice touch!

The fan makes a little noise when on a high speed but no more...

David G.: I bought 6 of these during a recent price drop and have installed 4 so far. Very happy with them. "Cute fan" is the first thing people say when seeing these small and compact fans installed.

I had none of the negative issues I've seen mentioned in many other reviews.

Assembly instructions suggested hanging the motor first, then installing the fan blades and light housing to the hanging motor. That looked awkward to me, so I fully assembled the fans on a table before hanging. Super easy. A magnetic philips screwdriver helps to hold the screws while guiding them through the box of wires when fastening the light housing to motor housing. Small fan with only three blades, so these fans are super easy to hang fully assembled.

One time while removing the tape holding the pull chain to housing's exterior, the chain slipped back into its hole and required several minutes to fish it back through the hole.

Each fan replaced an older fan in my 60 year old house, and each with different mounting issues. The provided bracket worked great each time. I did have to find some machine screws and nuts for attaching one bracket to a ceiling fan junction box but everything...

Irni Jak: Fan is awesome, solid, size excellent, quiet, installing was easy until we had to attache the light..... very tight space to line up screws to upper section, needed magnetic screwdriver, we were about to give up, decided to change which of the 3 screws to install first, second, third, many many attempts, FINALLY got it.... this issue is that the box contains so many wires there is so little space to navigate a screw driver , screw and at same time find the hole on upper section. There must be a better way! but the fan itself is great.
Doesn't come with remote control, and not sure if it already has a receiver inside the wire box (there,s a grey little box...is that a receiver?) I would like to buy a remote control but have no idea which one to buy, advice from HUNTER would be appreciated with product number pls thx.
