Jim Young: This model fan, according to the installation instructions, has a light kit available and the document covers installation of the light kit. However, talking to Hunter, they tell me that no light kit is available for this fan. Had I known this, I would have purchased a different brand. The caveat here is that you don't know, at least with this brand, if you can ever find this light kit or if we just take it down and buy a different brand.

GONE: These replaced 2 hunter fans on our outdoor patio in cold Minnesota. They are good so far, but the winter could change that. The previous fans came with our house, a couple years ago, and were rusty, warped and ugly.. but worked well and were very quiet.

These new fans look much better. The old fans had 5 blades, and these have 3. The new 3 blades are slightly longer... I feel like 3 blades makes a little more noise. It would be very slightly.. but the old fans were very quiet with 5.

I dont hear the motors in the fans. Just the wind noise a bit. Maybe that means they are pushing more air? Idk.. either way, these look really fancy to us and we love them.

Bob: The media could not be loaded.  I read complaints about it not producing enough airflow however it’s perfect in my bedroom. The blades are slightly bent down when installed black side down, so I flipped them so the wood grain was down and now they are perfectly level. Likely just do to the packaging putting slight pressure on them over time. I’d recommend this fan. Whisper quiet motor, and ut looks great, especially considering my ceilings are 8ft.

Amazon Customer: The fans are nice but the blades are utterly short; the description includes that middle part the blades go into as part of the blade length measurement which is false, so they look very stubby. It was my mistake to not notice a remote isn’t included and I have 10 ft ceilings so I returned the fans to get ones that have a remote.

However, when I returned the fans through UPS, they were two different packages and two separate labels. The one fan got a refund as UPS scanned the box, and the other fans did not get a refund as soon as the box was scanned. So that was weird, and UPS blamed the company. It’s been almost two weeks for the items to go from FL to KY which is super suspect, and they’ve been sitting in transit about one city away for the past 4 days. So not overly impressed with my whole experience but there isn’t really anything wrong with the fans.
