Sara: It keeps the babies plates and bowls from sliding around while eating. The small lip around the edges keep spills from escaping and makes clean-up so much easier. If I ever find the need again I'll gladly buy more!

stacy: I bought this because my dog has a whisker aversion. She will not eat out of a bowl anymore. So I was having to put her food on the floor. The product is rather thin, but I take it with me when we travel and it just rolls up. It has a very small lip on it all the way around so as to contain her food, I also placed her water bowl on there which she has no problem drinking out of.

MiaMia: Overall really nice color and quality feeling material. Laid flat right out of the package. It’s advertised for both cats and dogs but I wouldn’t recommend it for cats who have a history of pushing their water bowl around. Wish the ledges were a bit taller or more sturdy, my cat easily pulls the bowl over the edge. It did catch the majority of the water though

Brunel BarkersBrunel Barkers: Does what it's supposed to. Got a good edge to it. Big enough for the cat water fountain, catches the slops off the cat that can't drink properly. Stops the laminate getting ruined. Perfect.

Alessandro Martino: Classic silicone feeding Matt, nothing special about it. It has got raised sides to help keep any spillage inside and seems easy enough to wash, although I haven't tried yet. A bit pricey for what you get, but can't complain about the item

Lesley CrimesLesley Crimes: Got this as my kitchen floor constantly had a mess around the dogs bowls, it just fits 2 food bowls (ones quite big) & water dish, the lip around the edge contains any water spills & dropped food, unless one of the dogs decides to walk around crunching their biscuits, but there’s not much I can do about that, the mat is soft silicone & very easy to keep clean, it lies flat on the floor & doesn’t curl up at the edges like our last one did, I would have preferred if it was a little wider, but the next size would have been to big for where I want it to go, but this one is fine, so I can recommend this mat & would definitely buy another if I needed to.
