HP Pavilion x360 14" 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop - Touchscreen, Intel Core i5 Processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD

Objective Observer: I just received this product two days ago. It arrived safe, no thanks to UPS who threw it in a mud puddle in the pouring rain down by the back yard instead of driving to the front door and putting it on the porch. Luckily, even though the outer box was soaked, the inner box seems to have protected it. The keypad is big. The touchscreen seems to work well, although I haven't really used it yet. The set up was easy, and no problems so far. I don't like that the delete key and power button are reversed. The laptop is lightweight but has a big enough screen that I can see.

I waited a while to finish the review to see how I like the product itself. The hinge has two pieces of hard plastic that stick out and they either rip up the tablecloth or scratch the table underneath. Also, the keyboard is not as comfortable as my old laptop. My daughter says it feels off balance, but the biggest problem for me is the delete key and power button are reversed from my old laptop. Part of the reason I picked this laptop was because it has a delete key (I hate only having backspace), but they have reversed the order and put the power button on the inside. AnnLD: I’ve been buying HP computers for many years. I usually have them custom built, but this time, I took a Prime Day deal that was too good to pass up. Once I got everything set up, the computer is exactly right for me in every way except the built-in mouse. There’s plenty of storage/memory, the touchscreen works well, graphics look sharp, the screen is just the right size, and I love the 360 convertible feature. I don’t use the tablet mode often yet, but it makes watching videos and playing online games easier. It was easy to set up my preferences for what to do when I turn the lid in different directions. The laptop is lightweight and easy to tote around. The power button is on the side, which can be inconvenient. I have unintentionally put my computer in sleep mode a couple of times by picking up the laptop and inadvertently pressing that button. I have changed the setup so that nothing happens when I hit the power button.

Now to my one complaint. I’m not a fan of a mouse with no actual buttons for left/right clicking. This laptop has one where you use the lower left or right corner of the built-in mouse, and it doesn’t always seem to work quite right. When a...

Katiuska ToralKatiuska Toral: I bought this laptop for college, being a freshman I was looking for something affordable that would last. I got the core i5 10th gen and I am absolutely happy with my purchase. I had thought about getting a mac but price wise it was out of range. The pavilion is very smooth and crisp in a way. I use it for online class and I have to run some programs for my science classes. It has NOT let me down. I've been using it for about a month now and it still works like new. The setup took me like 15 minutes when I first got it. The only things that I believe could be a con for some is that the battery will not last a whole day. I start class at around 8:20 am and around 12 pm the battery is dead, there is a battery saver button tho and it usually let's my battery last an extra hour or so. Tablet mode is fun, I don't usually use it so I have no comment on that. Regardless, very good product for the price. Would 100% recommend for college students. I don't think this would be a good choice for gaming tho. (sorry for the stickers!)

Edit: it has been almost a year since I bought this laptop. It's very sturdy tho it seems light, I've dropped it a few times and it doesn't have a scratch...
