Francisco GonzálezFrancisco González: El ventilador es muy bonito, luce bastante bien, es muy silenciioso y permite dormir excelente, el único problema es que avienta poco aire, afortunadamente lo instale en un cuarto donde tengo aire acondicionado y para sentir confort necesito prender por lo menos un rato el aire y ya con eso se siente bien el lugar, si no es para un lugar donde hace mucho calor es una excelente opción, pero si lo vas a utilizar como tu unica opción de enfriamiento es mejor que consideres otros ventiladores, si lo buscas por estetica definitivamente cómpralo.

Luz Alejandra Villa IceaLuz Alejandra Villa Icea: Esta hermoso y funciona muy bien, la luz no es como la de un foco de 100watts pero ilumina bien, sobre el control remoto hay 2 trucos porque no agarra tan fácilmente, op1. Ponerte lo en la barbilla y de allí utilizarlo para q tu cabeza funcione como antena. Op2 poner el control enseguida del interrumpo de la luz q alimenta esa salida de luz y los cables sirven como antena y detecta el uso del control. Esto fue probado con los 2 abanicos q compre y así hicimos q la señal del control la detecte inmediatamente.

W. Wood: First, this is a high-quality fan. I did have a Hampton Bay before and the internal transceiver died. Hampton Bay didn't have a replacement part, so scrap one fan. I was looking for an upgrade and this Xerces model is what I chose.

The Pros. It's whisper quiet, easy to install, and has a nice finish to it. The remote takes some getting used to but it's compact and 1/4 the size of my old fan remote. The transceiver is also a separate unit and can be replaced without taking the fan down, which means a failure-prone area of these newer ceiling fans is avoided and I can just order up the parts to fix it. The light is fully dimmable

The Cons. I had a missing part, the piece that goes down over the mounting pole to the top of the fan. The fan puts out about 75% on high that my old Hampton Bay did. I also have fiddled with the balance at high speed but I still have a little oscillation in it. That means I'll have to get some small weights to get it to be dead still. It's not a big oscillation may be less than 1/4 inch?

Overall I'm happy with it and it was a good value for the money.

Johns FamilyJohns Family: Read the negative reviews, and they'll all tell you that it doesn't move a TON of air. Most big fans do - this advertises the volume of air it moves, and it's not a lot - know that up front. The blades are relatively thin for the length. I will say that I've turned the fan up to high, and I thought it was plenty breezy, but I just wanted something stylish to help circulate the air more than anything - we have A/C, so cooling the room isn't my real intention.

The fan is heavy, but installs just like any other. It DOES have separate wiring for two switches - one for the light, one for the fan on/off. It also comes with a remote. My one complaint about the remote is that the little bracket that is meant to attach it to the wall doesn't really hold it securely, so it moves around a bit when you're pushing buttons. It's clear the bracket was a bit of an afterthought.

The blades are reversible and have either a medium dark wood look (what we chose) or a light grey-ish wood look. Seems like one of those two choices would work well in just about any space.

The light is a built-in LED. A lot of reviews seem to complain that it's not very bright. I personally wasn't...
