Amazon Customer: Overall a nice alarm clock for my purposes with a few notable caveats.

Pros:
- Displays the time of the next alarm. This provides peace of mind before going to sleep that I have (a) remembered to set the alarm, and (b) have set the alarm to the correct time. The next alarm is shown in 24-hour format (regardless of whether the time is 12-hour or 24-hour), which prevents accidentally mixing up AM or PM
- Plays a slightly electronic version of the first few bars of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier (Ave Maria), which is nice to wake up to (with the below caveat)
- Alarm volume control
- I like the switches and buttons, they feel very clean and well-designed
- Temperature display, I see this as a gimmick and do not care whether it is accurate

Cons:
- The alarm snoozes every 9 minutes, but will only go off four times! For example, if the alarm is set at 7:00am, it will go off at 7:00, 7:09, 7:18, and 7:27. It will then be silent until 7:00am the next day! This is a big risk for an over-sleeper
- The screen is hard to view at an angle. Since the screen is tilted backwards, this means that if the alarm clock is higher than the level of the...

Anthony Morra: Great little alarm clock which is easy to set. The alarm is a melody, which is nice to wake up to instead of a loud and annoying buzzer - you can also set the volume if you wish for it to be louder or quieter. I like how it has a thermometer on the display so it tells you the temperature inside the room. It has two USB ports to charge your phone, tablet, etc, which is great as it charges my android phone pretty quickly also. The display is very bright on the highest setting, but it is great because it has a dimming option, which you can almost basically turn the display off if you'd prefer. You can put this clock in 12 hr or 24 hr format. The numbers are very easy to read also. Setting the alarm is also a breeze. Basically, this clock only uses 2 buttons (unlock and the rotary one) to set the time, and 1 to set the alarm (plus pressing down the alarm button to turn it on), so this clock is pretty user friendly. It's great because it also has a battery backup (3 AAA batteries) for when the power goes out, but the display also stays partially illuminated while running on batteries which is nice - I am not sure if the alarm still sounds or not, I have not tried that...

greenyamo: I bought this after my alarm clock packed in after about 13 years. It is so easy to set by just pressing the alarm button and then spinning the wheel on top to the desired time. The thing I like is that once you have set the alarm then the time you have set is displayed in the bottom right so if you are laying in bed you can just look at the clock and see it is set. I always have that moment when I get in to bed of "did I set my alarm?" and had to press a button to double check on my old clock.

The clock itself is really small and compact but the time display is massive which is another great thing as in the middle of the night when you are clock watching it is very easy to read. The brightness can be adjusted by pressing the button on top. I like having the temperature on the display as well.

Finally, having two usb ports is brilliant so I can charge my phone and kindle. All in all, this is the perfect clock for me!

Starks: I purchased this item to replace an old alarm clock which I've had for years. Due to lifestyle changes, I had trouble falling asleep earlier in the evening and part of it was because of my obnoxious, bright alarm clock.

During one of the nights I could not fall asleep, I decided to browse Amazon for a new alarm clock and stumbled upon this item. It caught my attention because of its simple design and decided to give it a try.

Upon unboxing, I noticed how small it was. This was a huge plus because I like to keep my bedside table clean and it didn't take up much space.
The setup and installation was simple. It is defaulted to 24hr time but can easily be changed with a switch on the back of the device. Changing the time and setting the alarm was a breeze. Rather than repeatedly pressing or holding a button, you turn the big dial on top to set the appropriate time.

The Alarm works. It works very well. After two weeks of using this alarm clock, it has yet to fail waking me up. It isn't like one of those alarms that suddenly start blaring. It begins with a gentle melody that gradually gets louder and louder.

Jess B.: I am super picky about alarm clocks, and I was not looking forward to purchasing a new one after the one I've been using for many years broke. I have a couple of requirements for alarm clocks. I hate that typical "alarm clock" sound, and prefer beeping. However, I really love the chord music and volume control on this alarm clock. It is far less "alarming" to wake up to,

I also cannot have any light in the room I'm trying to sleep it. It really bothers me. I was worried as this did not sound like it had a complete "off" mode for the light, but I thought I'd try it. There are 4 brightness settings that can be adjusted by the big button the top at any time. I was very happy that the lowest setting is almost completely off. In the light, the lowest setting is almost not visible at all. For me, I'm glad to have this low of a setting.

Finally, I live in a place where winters are bad and we have power outages. I can't risk not waking up for work on time, so I really needed something with battery back up. I don't like relying on just batteries so having a wall plug AND battery back up is perfect for me.
