KELLY N.: i've been looking for a cake plate forever and didn't want anything glass just for durability sake and this ended up being so beautiful and perfect. i get so many compliments on it and everyone asks where i purchased it, i have used it for pastries and for veggies and dip and it is so versatile! its light weight, easy to clean. the lid fits nice and tight down in the groove and keep all bugs out and makes pastries last forever. looks fantastic in my kitchen on the counter. looks expensive. i think i am going to buy them for christmas gifts cause its just so perfect for so many things

Ashley: The cake stand looks great in my kitchen, the dark wood looks more expensive than it is. The lid/bowl is a little lightweight, it doesn’t feel incredibly sturdy when used as a salad bowl but looks like it will be great as a platter for dip and as a cake stand.

Katie in BKLNKatie in BKLN: This may seem like high praise, but this cake stand is the best thing I ever bought on Amazon.
1. It's high quality. I got the acacia wood style and both the tray and the small bowl are lovely, real wood and have a great look and feel without being heavy. The dome is clear acrylic, not glass, but that also keeps it very lightweight.
2. It's pretty! I love the wood grain. It will complement almost any kitchen.
3. It's multiple things! I had put off buying a cake stand for a long time because my apartment is small and unitaskers have no place here, plus a cake dome just naturally takes up space. However, this is so cleverly designed: it's a cake serving tray with a dome that locks into the groove on the lip of the tray. It's also a cake stand, if you set the tray on the upside-down small bowl. But it's also an appetizer tray: flip the platter over, and it's got 4 sections for veggies or chips, and the small bowl fits in the center for a dip. You can also invert the cake dome and use the whole setup as a serving bowl for salad or anything else (trifle, anyone?).

Melissa r MctavishMelissa r Mctavish: I really love this purchase! It looks exactly like glass. Of course probably not as sturdy but it’s very light weight which is nice. Will have to handle/wash gently as it feels like the top could crack if you are rough with it. Not sure if it is dishwasher safe so I hand wash mine. It is perfect for cakes or cupcakes or flip it over and good for a veggie platter or a fruit platter. The dip dish fits snug in the centre so your dip won’t slide around. Apparently you could also use it as a punch bowl lol. This was a great purchase for me :)
