r: We purchased these to decorate tables at a church class dinner for 50. I was a little concerned that they would look a little chintzy for this purpose but turned out great. I can't vouch for whether the claimed battery life (which is pretty outlandish) is realistic, but they held up well for 5 hours and appeared to have a lot of life left in them. Yes, as some other reviewers have noted, the lights are not exceptionally bright, but this was a good thing. It made them appear understated without standing out like blinking beacons. We love these. Plus, you can get the ubiquitous coin batteries for pennies apiece if you purchase imported batteries in bulk. Recommended

Arin: I used the tealights in candle holders and candelabra over the christmas period for an extra bit of sparkle. I had thought the 72 tea lights in three boxes would last over the festive period but was very happily surprised that I only used one box of 24 which were used every day til new year. I am currently on to the second box of 24, in use for my tea lights in use all year round. Very happy and surprised with the long life and excellent price for this product.

F.L.: Bought these for my new flat and they work great. They give off a nice flicker and glow exactly like a tea light. Note that they are slightly taller than a normal tealight is. I've found these to be much nicer looking that some other electric tea lights. These work especially well in tea light holders where you can't see the light source, as the flickering effect is spot on.

Oft: You do get what you pay for with the battery operated tealights. I've kept most but gifting one box. A beautiful warm glow that looks natural. Wish I had known about these long ago. Will use seller again for sure. The boxes are perfect for gifting, each one contains 12 tealights. One of those purchases that ticks all the boxes!

IoBBIoBB: I bought some of these last year (supposedly the same/same make) and they were brilliant, a lovely yellow white colour. These have arrived with ‘New’ stated on the box. Same appearance till I turn them on. They are a *very* fluorescent unrealistic orange colour and do not match last years at all. Taken a photo which doesn’t really show how very orange they are. Now I need to identify white ones as these will not suit. With lockdown not easy to return. If the company wishes to respond, to say if they’re still selling the original colour, I’d be very grateful! Photo, last year on left, this year on right. Giving 3* as other than colour they appear as good as my current ones, but the colour is very artificial.

Update, no timer either, almost all (Plus my previous ones) run for 6 hours before turning off. Got up this morning and everyone was still running.

Poacher: Amazing little lights. Have to admit I'm getting a bit bored of testing these now. I decided when I received them that I would turn one on and see if it last more than a couple of days before it died but the thing is that was 4 weeks ago now and it's still going! Cracking little lights that last forever, go and buy them now!
