Benji: This pump so far seems to be working great for what I needed. Currently using it in a pond to stir up water, and it has plenty of power. It is capable of good lift and can quickly drain out a pond when needed.

S.A.CT: One star off for the float being difficult to use in shallow water. The cable is not flexible enough so it is hard to get it to float the right side up. This is what you need to connect to regular US garden hose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GX39YFK?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image
All of these discount sump pumps should just include something like this in the box. It has great flow with hose but not a lot of pressure.

Alli Ann Bell: I ordered this pump as an upgrade from the one we have. 1hp is better than 1/2 right……… the first pump came broken and I’m almost positive it was used. We exchanged it the new one came we got it ready for use and it hums and that is all it will do. There is no suction happening no matter what angle we put it into the water, no matter what angle we have the pump standing, on its side nothing. Tried moving the hose to different angles and still nothing. I will be returning this garbage and using my other smaller pump at least it actually works unlike the one I bought. If anyone is reading this DO NOT WASTE ur money or ur time with this junk!
