The Holy Stone HS120D GPS Drone with Camera for Adults is a top-of-the-line quadcopter that offers an array of features to make your drone experience more enjoyable. This drone comes with a 2K UHD FPV camera that transmits fluent and clear live video in vivid colors. It also features GPS mode that helps the drone hold a solid hover, auto return home, follow me, altitude hold, and way-points functions. Additionally, the drone includes two batteries and a carrying backpack for convenient storage and carrying. This drone is the best choice for those looking for a drone with long battery life, build quality, reliable controls, and advanced functionality. AUBRIE JAUBRIE J: The media could not be loaded. I will start by saying that I really wanted to purchase the DJI Mavic Mini, but for the huge jump in price I just wasn't willing to do it. Then I found out that the Mavic Mini flight app requires a phone or mobile device running a 64 bit OS and I was REALLY out since my phone runs on a 32 bit OS (even though the hardware inside is 64 bit) and I was NOT about to purchase a very expensive phone in addition to the very expensive drone! Sorry for that tangent...
That said, I love this HS120D camera drone! It has great features, a nice carrying case, some spare parts, two batteries, a tiltable camera while in flight, GPS with RTH (return to home), and the app will actually run on almost all phones! It takes reasonable pictures and videos for someone who is using it mostly casually and for recreation (and saves them to both your mobile device AND a micro SD card, not included).
Yes, this drone uses brushed motors, but don't let that deter you. This thing can really get up and go and has three separate speed modes to choose from depending on how you wish to fly (which you can change at any time while in the air). If you want to take...

Richard GRichard G: The media could not be loaded. I first bought the HS700 (which I reviewed and liked, though it had a few shortcomings), and I wanted to get one for my son. I find myself actually preferring this drone over the HS700 (sorry, son!), mostly because of the camera image quality and general ease of use. Here's my pros & cons (and in-betweens):
Pro:
Super-easy to fly! Any beginning drone pilot will be able to fly this right out of the box.
Video and photo quality is visibly better than my HS700
Kit includes 2 batteries and an excellent padded zipper carry case.
Compact controller folds up very cleverly in travel case.
Flight times seemed longer than my HS700, probably over 20 minutes from each battery.
My (large) Pixel 3XL actually fits in the cellphone cradle on the controller (without phone case).
I like the feed-back sounds for taking photos (camera drive sound) and constant beeping when a movie is shooting.
Much easier to access memory card (included!) in the camera than the HS700.
Camera has an up and down gimble movement so you can change it mid-flight.
Comes with a charger that charges both batteries at once, and it seems to charge...

hbsailorhbsailor: The HS120D is a full function GPS drone. It is not a drone for beginners. At 219 grams, it is below the weight of 249 grams where a drone is required to be registered. I would not fly it indoors as the propellers are quite powerful and could damage furniture, pictures, etc. I practice indoors with the HS370, which is much smaller, and has a lot of neat features to learn too. Crashes with it do not hurt things indoors, like a large drone would do. Both the HS120D and the HS370 have great apps for phones. The HS120D app is great for confirming GPS connectivity, which is required for any of the "Return to Home" features - One Button Command RTH, Automatic Low Power RTH, and Loss of Transmitter RTH. When outdoors, I always fly it in GPS mode. There is an icon in the app's control screen that confirms GPS acquisition. The drone lights, when in the sunshine, are not as easy to confirm GPS acquisition. The drone's app also has a banner at the bottom of the control screen that says when the drone is ready to fly. The drone is powerful enough to maintain hover even with 5-8 mph winds. Both the HS120D and HS370 take video and pictures, and have the headless mode option. The HS120D comes...
