christinechristine: this had a decent size pool of water on it everyday, and the matt is floppy so trying to pick it up flat to bring to the sink will spill the water out. but if u grab up the 4 sides like this, u can carry it safely to the sink with no spills. love the soft rubber/how easy it is to clean! one thing I'd change is making the sidewalls a bit taller but it is Dozer approved :)

Caroline: Love the gray color. I used this tray to contain glitter from getting everywhere on my table. If you’re trying to carry something on this flexible tray, make sure you have something hard underneath to transport as it is a little too flimsy and it will collapse.

For simple glue crafts, I’m sure it works wonders but it’s a little harder to clean when working with glitter.

Amanda: I originally bought two of these for my kids to use with their paint supplies but I ended up taking them back and using one for my cat’s food and water bowl and used the other one to sit next to my stove as a large silicone space for kids and utensils while cooking. All 3 of the ways I’ve used them have worked great. They clean well and are non slip. Neither one of them have stained or ripped or anything like that so they’ve outlasted my cats pawing at them trying to move it and since it won’t budge, it doesn’t make their water dish spill over either. 10/10

Gail Nameth: Flexible, rolls up nicely when needed to move and store. Looks much better than the plastic ones that I had previously purchased. Does what it is expected to do.

Silverman: Although I was satisfied with my previous mat, I loved the idea that these came in several sizes and I could get one wide enough to fit my cat's water fountain on the same mat as his food (instead of it being on the floor, off the mat). I also loved that it came in tons of colors so I could match it to my kitchen. What I did not realize was that it's soft/flexible and very lightweight (it came rolled up in the package) and kind of flimsy. It doesn't seem durable. This makes it a bit difficult to lift up for cleaning or bringing to the sink. You have to carefully hold both sides to ensure any food on it doesn't slide off. My previous mat could never be rolled up; it was sturdy and easy/safe to lift up and move around. See pic showing how it's foldable. This may be an asset for some people (but not for me).

Also, it's very plain, there's no texture or design on it.

grim: instant return. colour is not even close to as pictured and idk what other people are receiving but mine had no raised edge. flimsier than cardstock, don't waste your time

R.A.R.A.: This is probably the nicest food mat that I've ever purchased for my cats. It's much thicker than other ones that I've bought, and the sides are much higher. I don't put my mats in the dishwasher (I hand wash them) so I think this should last quite a while. I'm not sure why some reviewers are complaining about it being flimsy - it's a mat not a tray....

Jo Lowndes: My cat is such a messy eater…. Food goes everywhere. This is so easy to wipe clean. Much easier than getting the dried up food off the floor when you get home after work. A quick wipe and it’s clean. The food doesn’t stick. It also goes in the dishwasher too.
