Cowgirl: We have fed a variety of purebred dogs and rescues this food for over 70 years and have had nothing but success with it. Dogs looked great, lived long healthy lives...my last, a Cocker Spaniel living to 17 years, and working diligently to the end...a lab to 15 years and many others well past their average breed lifespan. Dog foods come and go, but Hill's Science Diet/Rx has been around my life and I'm 82.
