Gianna: I have 2 large dogs (Pyr mixes) that shed a lot during the warmer months. As someone who previously worked as a dog bather, I know the difference a good bath and brush out can do for shedding. Typically I stay away from de-shedding tools and use rubber brushes. However, I went for it and do not regret it at all. Love it, even use it on my cats!!

Elisa: The handle is a bit odd because it's dished out on one side. I prefer how the the SleekEZ brand feels in my hand, but I love the blade on this brush! I had tried to order a Furminator (equine edition), but the seller was out of stock, and I'm so glad I took a chance on this! I tend to stay away from metal blades, but the teeth on this brush are just like the Furminator (I have one for my double coat cat), so the brush will remove the undercoat without damaging the top coat!
I tested this brush this eveing while my horse ate his dinner. I didn't brush long because I was able to remove so much hair (and I didn't want to have to clean his pen). He'll be getting a full body brush tomorrow! I like to look at pictures with reviews, so I'll add some later.

Can Lo: Bought this for my busy salon and it is brilliant. It effectively remove lots of undercoat, with a very good grip. Only down side is it's a bit heavy but I still highly recommend it.

cdev: I previously had a sleekeze for my horses but have lost this so was looking for a replacement.
This is the exact same sort of thing but I think the blade is s little longer so possibly a little more effective.
Its a bit shorter than a sleekeze for horses but on the other hand it is easier to use on the legs and under elbows for example.
Not particularly cheap when you consider its just a comb blade in a piece of wood but the handle is nicely shaped.
The blade was a touch loose when it arrived but my husband fixed it up for me and is fine now.
