ddruquet: This printer Is a really well made, compact unit that prints quietly, clearly and fast. The printer was easy to set up (attach cord, plug it in, follow screen prompts), and came with an actual disc (I couldn’t use it but it was a nice blast from the past) or the option to download any drivers one may need from the Lexmark website. You can also use the Lexmark app option to install the printer on your phone which is what I did and it works great. You of course can also opt to use an ethernet cord or a USB cord to connect the printer to your computer if you choose not to connect via wifi. One of the reasons the printer prints so fast is that it actually has a 1 GHz dual-core processor. and also, it has 256 MB of memory which is great for larger jobs when they queue up. The paper tray is also deeper than the average tray so it holds more paper. For high volume jobs all of these features are enormously helpful. The automatic two sided feature is also very convenient and saves time, paper and money. Finally, Lexmark has incorporated end to end security into the unit and information remains private and protected. I received a special deal on this product for...

Daniel Fagnan: Bonne qualité / Prix

Ethan: Bought this printer in late 2020. While it was working, it was fine. In February 2021, all of a sudden, nothing works on it. I've tried using the mobile assistant to set it up, and an error message pops up every time... it doesn't connect. And then I've tried using the printer itself (manually), and although it says "Ready" and everything seems to be fine, I go to print and nothing happens. Also, while it's plugged in, this on and off squeaking noise (like an electric current) turns on and off every second. Can't even keep the thing in the office because it's so annoying. Would never consider buying a Lexmark product again.

David Thompson: This product is used in a home with multiple users and devices using a WIFI connection. I have also used the USB connection. It prints relatively quietly and efficiently. The front loader mechanism is a bit louder than the main paper tray. It prints at a good speed as advertised. The print is clear and clean.
I have only used the front loading tray with card stock and copy paper. It worked well and feeds from the top. The front tray should hold a good number of blank copy papers at once (30?). It works great to feed computer checks in this way.
We have only had 2 minor issues with the device and these are probably user error. Switching from the main tray to the front loading tray and back was a little challenging. The only way I can figure it out is to manually change the paper settings on the printer itself. I could not find an "auto paper selection" or a way to get the computer driver to change over to the alternate tray. The second issue may have to do with the first in that sometimes I cannot get the WIFI router to make the printer print. Having only had about a month's experience with this machine may be a factor. So, I wrote...

Florence Li: Super easy to set up and connect to my phone, work and personal laptop.

Little noisy when it runs, print quality is ok, great value for money.

So far, it serves it purpose which is to print work related stuff at home.

James: As I write this, we are still very much in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, and I suspect that will still be the case come November. Here in The Buckeye State we have to request an absentee ballot by sending an application via USPS. Since I do not intend to go to the polls in person, I chose to replace my worthless, broken, 6 year old Canon inkjet printer so that I could print out the ballot application. The old inkjet actually stopped functioning properly a few years ago, and I had limped along during that time relying on the printers at work for all of my printing needs. However, I am now working from home for the foreseeable future and do not want to don a mask and drive into the office just to pick up a piece of paper.

My only requirement: I was determined to have a laser printer. I've had a string of inkjets that all did a number of things, like make copies or scan documents. All of them were doomed to be mediocre at best at any task assigned to them, but the clincher is that they always stopped working after about 3 or 4 years. What's more, they are incredibly slow. The Canon for instance liked to spend about 2 full minutes making a bunch of...
