SV: This lock is made of decent material and the instructions are good as to how they show how to set the number code to lock it. My biggest complaint so far is that it binds up somehow so that when you enter the code you put in and try to unlock it, it sticks sometimes and does not want to release. This has happened more than once and made me nervous that I was not going to be able to unlock my Ebike.
Update!
The seller was very concerned about my review and the reoule I had with the lock and replaced it with one that works better. The issues with the lock are resolved.

Lisa: First when I chose my new combination numbers, I needed to stay with low numbers or the lock was really difficult to reopen. so I picked up low numbers and it was ok for a few openings... but now it always get stuck halfway and I need to try to turn a little around the numbers, realign or shake it to have it opening. I decided to put it on my really old bike... because one day.... I will not be able to open it.
I did not return it because I needed it right away for the week end....
but... I would not recommend it... junk! I ordered 3 locks from different makers for different bikes in the past 2 years and bought one locally... this is the only one I have problem with!
Update: the company saw my review and sent me a new one for free and this one works very well. so really good customer service!
