Sherrie: My 2010 DC25 brushes stopped brushing so I decided I needed a new vac. Surprise after I got new vac - my DC25 was still working after I cleaned brushes. However I'm glad because this new vac really sucks the dirt out of a red/white/black 4x6 throw rug and it didn't suck up the rug and I didn't have to go over it more than one time. Some complain about the weight. I'm an old skinny female and I have no problem with the weight. Of course I don't have to carry it long distances. Home is 2500 sq ft but it is all on one level.

Elizabeth Utzig: I have had a Dyson vacuum for the past 16 years. It finally died and I purchased this model. I was surprised at how the quality of the product has decreased. The newer model is much flimsier than the old red ball. Suction is not as powerful.

April77: My daughter had one and I decided to pay the price and get one. She had told me it was worth the price and I was absolutely amazed at the power also the “dirt” in my rugs! I only have carpet in one room but do have some rugs and wanted it for my wood floors. Assembly was a tad hard to understand . I love it and recommend it. BTW - I had a Shark before this Dyson. Huge deference.

Serendipity.: After using Sharks for years I finally decided to give a Dyson a go when this one went on sale. So far I really like it. I’ve got three huskies so the hair in my house can get ridiculous and this has done a great job at sucking it up and not getting too tangled in the roller brush. My favorite feature is that you can turn the roller on and off which I like to use when switching from my hardwoods to rugs. The only thing I miss on my Shark that this doesn’t have are the lights. I never realized how much it helps until I started using a vacuum without them.

Amazon Customer: I need solid high quality Item, Dyson was the top brand in my mind, I thought But my home vacuum has always been central Vacuum. I need for commercial property .This It Looks pretty sweet in photo's
I did a quick test - Has Good suction, will work on a short carpet. BUT So many cheap plastic parts for price of item. Hard to maneuver, short hose - very stiff hose , that falls from unit when you maneuver vacuum on carpet . Vacuum falls over, very unfriendly use when tested reaching desk or ceiling, very short reach. unfortunately will not work for myself or staff . Thankfully I was able to return, and my search continues .

C-A: This is my 2nd Dyson vacuum and the first one lasted 18 years. Amazing suction and easy to clean. The cord can be a bit annoying but a small annoyance compared with the great suction ease of manoeuvring around.
