Cristian: Great replacement of the original pump, no strainer included but the strainer from the old pump was used. A bit too pricey...

Ajak: This product is being used in an above floor sump and it has functioned extremely well. This is the second one I purchased as a backup for the current one I have installed.

Shelby Mcbee: The flow seemed very low since installed new. I finally got around to checking it and it was 15.5seconds to fill a 1 gallon water jug. That means it’s only doing approximately 4 gallons per minute and 240 gallons per hour. Not even close to 500gph. Voltage is good, strainer is clean and clear. I pulled the pump out of the hull and put it in a clean tub of water for testing. This is a very important product and fairly pricey to be failing so soon! Hopefully the seller will reach out and do something about this.

UPDATE 3/13/23 xylem Is sending a replacement pump.

KA.: Replaces a 10 year old one that has been in constant use, the auto function has failed but still works fine manually, the new one is working fine, so far.

Kevin StokesKevin Stokes: One thing people should know is that it detects the presence of water by running the pump. If there is no load on the pump, it decides there no water and turns off. It turns on about once every 2.5 minutes for about 1 second.

This probably doesn't apply to any of you, but I installed this in an antique 1956 Lyman Islander wooden boat. It has a 6 volt positive ground electrical system. Therefore, I had to mount a separate 12v battery. I chose a 6 Amp-Hour Lithium battery pack. It pumped a good amount of water as a wooden boat leaks a lot when you first launch. I also ran my fish finder/depth sounder off it.

In three weeks, the battery has not been drained. So power use doesn't seem to be a problem.

Sorry the pic doesn't actually show the pump, but it does show the little battery I'm using to power it.

It has a wire for controlling it manually. I put a momentary switch it for forcing it to run. This is a great feature. The automatic works so well I have never needed it, but I can use it to check the battery voltage because I added a volt meter to the circuit to check to see if the battery needs charging.

All in all -...
