High-Definition Police Body Camera for Law Enforcement with 2-Inch Display Screen

Andrew Lochridge: I use this camera on my plate carrier as well as keep it with me in the event I have to get out of my vehicle or house for self defense purposes. It performs wonderfully but about 3 months ago(a year after purchasing) and the battery fails to hold a full charge. Even after charging a full 36 hrs straight, the charge never goes above 50% and depletes after only recording for 10-15 mins. I wish something could be done for battery replacement or repair. I have come to depend on this camera to record any incident which I may need a record of later to cover my butt. If anyone knows how to replace the battery (if possible) I’d appreciate the info. Again, loved the performance when it worked but I can’t depend on it now to work when I may need it because of the poor battery.

Cooper: this camera is nice, however, the recording button doesnt always start recording if you dont hit the button right and the camera view isnt wide. its whats right in front of you. You cannot see to your right or left of the frame or lower. you have to orient yourself that way because the camera lense is not wide...also the clip is awe ful. it will fall off for sure

Mo Al: Pros:
Decent audio and visual quality
User friendly
Simple to set up/retrieve footage

Cons:
Low playback volume
The battery does NOT last 12 hours
The clip does not support movement beyond a fast walk

I would give it 4.5 stars if we could give a half star. I’ve been using mines for almost 2 years as a security officer. This tool has played a part in helping secure summons/warrants, hold individuals accountable, and aided in people thinking twice before acting!

Tobyjug: I use this for work and it fits the bill perfectly. Night vision works great, sound quality is good and picture quality is good as long as you, or what you are looking at is moving too quickly. I'm happy with the purchase, it works for me great. It's easy to use, and although the downloads are not exactly rapid, they are by no means slow.
I would replace with the same item if needed.

cmdr_iceman: It's a good camera overall and as a security guard it helps me immensely, even passively. Folks are less inclined to act a fool or try to lie about how I interacted with them when they see I can record our interaction with a push of a button (many think it's already recording when I approach).

For this reason, I love the stealth recording feature, where you can goto the settings menu and have all the activation tones and blinking lights silenced when turning the camera on or when it's actively running.

I love the fact that it has a screen so you can playback an incident in the field, so you can show management or police right there on the scene. It helps immensely with report writing as well, being able to re-watch an incident as it unfolds will help you to remember all the little details.

Memory capacity is excellent and will get you through a long shift unless you're an action hero like John Wick.

Images are crystal clear upon playback, everything is real smooth.

I do have a few complaints about the camera....

1) The camera angle seems to be angled way too high, I have to place the camera way down near my stomach in order to capture the...

I've been a police officer for approximately 20 years for a large department. Throughout the years, I have purchased different products to help improve the way I do my job. I've been waiting patiently to see if my department would acquire body cameras, and I reached a point where I didn't want to wait any longer. After doing extensive research through Amazon and online, I kept coming back to this camera. The relatively large number of positive reviews kept drawing me back even though I had never heard of the brand. When a coworker purchased the camera, and I got to hold it in my hands, I felt that it was made with quality and durability and warranted a purchase.
