Slim Jim: You get what you pay for. Things were tight when I bought this but I was hoping it would be useful. Sadly, having bought a MicroSD and started using the camera, I now find it to be unreliable. Putting it into standby is a hit and miss affair. Sometimes the light comes on and sometimes it doesn't. Also, the fact that the light goes out when it's recording isn't helpful, because you only find out later whether or not it's recorded. The clip is only large enough to fit on to a shirt or thin coat, and the lanyard doesn't keep the camera facing forwards. The picture and sound quality are good, but reliability appears to be the trade-off you pay in return for the low price.

freedom-fighter: Understand I have not had the camera for long so I may revisit this review as time goes on. I wanted something easy to use with a lanyard, not something I am going to use to upload videos or anything fancy. My vids will be overwritten every day unless I need one.
It has no night vision so it is only for daylight hours. Picture quality is very good I am still experimenting with the best way to wear it on my clothing but the pictures I take with it are very good quality. It has no stabilization so when you walk you are bouncing along but when you are standing or walking slowly picture quality is crystal clear.
Also I am experimenting with the audio. When I speak while walking it is very broken up, when I stand still and speak it is clear.
It is easy to see the videos when you plug into computer. Don't forget it does not come with SD card. I deducted one star for that reason. Since it is useless without the SD card, it should be included in the price for a true comparison.
Directions are atrocious but there are a few good reviews on YouTube that can help you out and give an idea of quality of pictures and audio.
Think about what specifically you want the camera for and...

Kim Miller: The media could not be loaded.  I really like this camera that comes with a cord so that you can wear it around your neck. Unfortunately, doing so causes the camera to bounce around terribly and the picture quality is not that great during playback. It can actually make you feel queasy.

The instructions that come with the product are not that clear either. I had to contact customer support to get clarification. The device also does NOT come with a SD card to save your videos and audio to which is an added expense to the cost of this device.

The picture quality; however, is really good. I shot this video with the camera clipped to the passenger window of my vehicle driving about 30MPH. I think it did an amazing job.

Some improvements that could be made - the clip should be on the reverse side of the camera lense and should be a little longer. When I would clip the camera to my shirt as shown it was always pointed in the air and not focused on anything. That may be because I'm a woman and have more curves than a man would, but even when my son had it clipped to his shirt collar it was still pointing in the air, just not quite as far as when I had it...

Dietmar: I have bought over a dozen of these. Some appeared to be fakes: interlaced images and the files not named using date and time, but only numbered. Return those fakes for a refund. Also test any memory (sd) cards they include. This listing does not claim to include them, but my last order included 32MB white label ones. I've tested them - and they are garbage. 9MB of usable space, rendering your first videos a total loss.
Areas of improvement:
1) the internal clock seems to be running fast - gaining a minute or so in one month. 2) updating the time should be easier, using + or - seconds to correct the internal clock instead of writing the full date and time to a file and starting the camera at exactly that time. Too many points that can introduce errors. 3) the start/stop button is prone to failure. Convenient location, but needs to get better support internally and get more protection against forces during falls.
Working with the set-up files is easy to do but takes a little time to learn. The recordings are in motion jpeg video (pcm audio) in an avi container and you can only choose between 720 and 1080 recording. At the default 30fps, recorded files become quite large...
