I’m having problems with the odds and ends.

The bolts on the brake light shook loose. Hey bike replaced the brake light and I ordered loctite. We ll see.

And The rear fender attaches to the frame on top and that piece broke.

I just emailed support to find a solution
The bike is making a noise that’s either the brakes rubbin or the fender rubbing

I’m going to look at all the parts my next day off and see if anything else came loose.

The bike is super convenient as a folder. The whole folding the bike makes the parts vulnerable to smashing against other bike ground or car. It’s a lot of doing and undoing

The bike tries to open and I do t find it easy to lift . I’m strong enough but I haven’t figured out the best way.

I live in the Central California Mountains. Most of my riding is along urban roads and a little trail riding. We have a lot of very steep paved hills in this area and this ebike with the PAS helps me to get right up them and the throttle gives me the option to rest when I want. This Heybike Mars ebike is a great addition to my daily cardio workout and having my dog running next to me or having her laying down behind me safely secured in her cargo basket is an additional joy and time together outside. I have the option to make my ride as easy or hard as I want it to be.

I purchased this Heybike Mars ebike from Amazon and with this purchase I also ordered the front cargo basket which was included with my purchase of the bike. The rear modified cargo basket you see in the photo was ordered from the Radio Flyer Company. This is the perfect size cargo basket for my dog Tasha (30lbs) to safely lay down in when we ride....

MARTMART: Order the Mars Heybike on a Monday. Delivery was very fast...Fedex was at my door by Wednesday afternoon. The box was in mint condition, no issue and the wrapping inside the box was very professionally done. Follow all instructions and the ebike was assemble in less than 1 hour. Did test ride around the block to make sure everything was working fine...again no issue. Today went for a 18km ride going up and down hills, still have 3/4 battery level. Seat could be a little wider and bit more cussing since I am a men in my 60's and weight 235 lbs. I order the blue colour with the black saddle bag and definitely love it. Overall, very impress from handling, riding and price. Would highly recommended.

BrandonBrandon: Let me preference this by stating this is my first ebike and the fact that it's somewhat modular is a wonderful.

So I've included a pic in my review of my kneecap, why? you are probably asking, well... me and the bike had a bit of a accident, a car related accident.... don't worry me and the bike are actually fine, infact I SUFFERED MORE DAMAGE THEN THE BIKE DID, though sadly the damage to the bike is a bit more permanent, I will get to that in a moment and is by no means a knock against the bike.

The collision was low speed and completely equal blame on me and the other party, and partially bad building placement.

I got on the bike to go do some shopping, I felt the breaks were a bit loose, said to myself I'll tighten them when I get back, and then because I wanted to hurry... went too fast for my own good.

She was a elderly woman who was blowing through a parking lot exit with a massive blind spot created by a building and our fates collided... literally her car collided with my left peddle sending me bouncing as I tried... in vain to stop myself but I did manage to move my leg out of the way of the front bumper so that's a plus hurray! ... my right...

Edward M Case: This is the first electric bike that I have owned. I bought this to ride around the neighborhood and to take camping. I placed the order, and received shipping information the next day and received the bike 2 days later.

It comes very well packed, and only had to mount the handlebars and pedals and was ready to go. It is heavy as many others have noted, but this seems to be the case with many of the electric bikes.

I have ridden about 10 miles so far, mostly on flat ground. It has good power, but definitely need to add peddle power going up hills. I weigh 190 pounds if your doing a lot of hill climbing you would want a larger motor.

All in all very happy with the product and the seller.

John M.: My wife and I are in our 60's and we wanted and had been looking at e-bikes for quite a while. We saw these on Amazon.ca and we thought the price was about what we wanted to pay. So we bought two bikes. (one white for the wife and black for myself). We bought these and they came with color displays which washed out by the sunlight. Couldn't see a thing on them plus the printing on the screen was so small which could have required magnification. We contacted Heybike and within a few short days we had new black and white displays which we found much easer to read and easy to install. Good quality folding e-bike with many features. I get about 30Kph (25mph) speed in high gear with pedal assist but with a fully charged battery you could achieve this speed without pedaling. So far we have ridden about 25 kms and the battery is still on full but i will charge them up just the same before our next ride. I would recommend a Heybike. I'll update this review if they don't live up to expectation but so far so good. oh and pedaling on grass or dirt is as easy as peddling on pavement. Going up hill is also easy and if you have to stop for a road crossing the throttle is easy to get you going...

KBbB: The HeyBike Mars was SUPER easy to setup and was ready to ride right away! The HeyBike support team has been very responsive to my general inquiries, and my only complaint so far was the quality of the promotional lock that I got for free as part of the purchase. It will be replaced by another promotional item as soon as their warehouse is replenished, because they’re lock was a piece of junk. Nowhere near the quality you want to have when it comes to securing such a wonderful e-bike!!!

Fabian Rueda: If you think it's a small bike, it's not. It weighs 62 pounds, so if you live on the second floor and have to lift it, you're going to have a hard time getting it up and down each time. As for the seat, it is not that low for a person of 1.65 meters. or smaller, because you will not be able to put both feet on the ground, nor in the lowest possible position. The brakes are noisy and squeal when braking. The manufacturer tells me that it is normal because it is a heavy bicycle, but it is not pleasant, because pedestrians get scared when they hear the brake. Front and rear shocks would have been ideal for more smoothness on rough roads. Otherwise it's fine, it has very good speed, you can reach 35 km/h when you pedal hard. Its battery is very durable, you can travel 90 km without problem. The foldable of the bicycle is to put it in the drawer of an SUV, nor will it fit in the trunk of a sedan. Too big.
