Heather Potvin: This scooper is excellent fir removing pasta instead of lifting the heavy pot to drain and you still have all the pasta water to mix the sauce in. Great for deep frying also.

N. McArthur: The handle is a very nice length. The wire is very sturdy. I haven't found foods too heavy for it. It cleans up quite well.

P.J.P.J.: The strainer is well made and feels sturdy- the wire parts are not flimsy at all & are attached well to the handle. I do feel that the handle is almost too short, and the strainer part is almost too small, but I only cook for two so it suits my needs -and it fits in my kitchen drawer (a larger one would not).
If you cook larger quantities of food though, I'd recommend going up to the bigger size. I'm a fairly petite woman and in the photo you can see the basket is only slightly larger than my hand.
I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher because of the bamboo handle, but so far it's been easy enough to clean.
It works well for me and I'm happy with my purchase.

Carlo Alberto: Una herramienta que no es tan comun en cocina de hogar pero cuando obtienes una no la vas querer devolver. Util para frituras y pochados. Si vas a sumergir algun alimento en un liquido y lo necesitas retirar esto es lo que quieres. Es de buen tamaño para una casa; no tan grande ni tan chica.

CMK: This is great. First one I have every owned. It is sturdy but light. Wicks away all the grease from my fried chicken. Sure I will find may more uses for this. A slight dent in the screen upon arrival but I just pushed it out and all is fine. Probably the dent was caused by this not being packaged in a box but rather in one of those sturdy type bags.
