Tom: Very good calculator -- nice feel of the buttons, light weight, works without battery. It lacks 1/x and y^x buttons, but that's minor (since they're not used often -- when I need them, I use the calculator on my iPhone, held sideways).

SM: I was surprised at how large this calculator was whenever I received it. I was also disappointed to find out that the calculator requires a battery to function and is NOT purely solar powered. I should have read the description a little bit better, but whenever I looked at the photos, I thought that because there was a solar panel at the top of the calculator, it wouldn't require 1 AA battery.
The calculator functions fine as it is and the majority of the buttons are in spots that I'm used to using so the transition hasn't been that difficult.
