Trevor: used this to cover a hole in my wheel well for about a year and it was still holding strong. only removed it to service something. If you clean the surface off before application it is near permanent but still removable if you peel it off.
excellent adhesion and durablility. I could still remove it though after a year.
In a pinch you can use it as a low tensile strength rope.
gorilla tape is the only duct tape I buy now.

JOHN S DACONTI JR: Stick it...it stays stuck! I haven't used it on anything too terribly heavy & really gotten an idea of its' overall strength, but it's worked so well on the things I have used it on, I would be willing to try it on some things that I would never waste time trying standard duct tape on.

newuser: Outstanding product! I have been buying this brand for years, ever since I first bought it from Amazon. The 3-pack deal is the BEST PRICE anywhere online and in-store, it's unbeatable! I mostly use it for indoor items (some still holding for years) but have seen many reviews of customers using it outside and they are pleased with the results as well. It's a very strong tape, easy to break off in pieces using your hand if you wanted to, but be careful don't let tape stick together while you unroll it, or there is nothing going to unpeel/unstuck them off, that's how strong it is. It's worth every penny, if it goes on sale, will for sure grad another 3-pack.
