Potter: I bought these to use in my truck, but ended up using them last weekend to lower tree limbs out of a bucket after renting a manlift. We lowered some very large limbs with just the plastic hook side, I was sure the hook was going to break a few times, but it never did. The carabiner is also a nice addition and makes it very convenient if you don’t want them to fall off or we lost.

DeVraissa: I've waited Awhile before writing this review. I buy items probably 85% of the time..for online shopping.. Based on reviews by other customers. In all fairness..I am returning the favor with this review.
My purpose for buying the Spider bungee cords is personal..therefore I am not able to give full details on that. I did not have some "way out there purpose"..nothing impractical or bizarre.
But I can say the little yellow tag on the cord..pretty much says it All. Can't tear tag off..its like the tags you will find now on electrical cords. The Hooks are Dangerous. Looking at them before using..I had doubts. Trying to "hook" the end of a cord..it became obvious the hooks of the cord..depending on the intent of usage..do not have enough "Closure" to be Very Secure. They are too Open. Depending on "What" you want to put a hook end around..That will decide whether the hooks will hold safely. Also the "Angle" of the Pull..This is very important.. It is what can move..eg.. the hook I had a hook come off..and I think it was directly because of the "angle of pull". There's a warning about possibility that the cord can snap back quickly..with the possibility of injury..specially to...
