Dobie S. PinschermanDobie S. Pinscherman: The winch itself (or wench, if you're an idiot) is mostly waterproof. my bigger concern was UV damage to the braided cable. This cover was the right size, and price point, after reading the info in the ad. It arrived quickly, and was well packed. Mounting was pretty quick on my 12000 pound winch (or wench if you're an idiot) i did use a couple of jumbo zip-ties I had laying around, just to make it harder to steal. I'll probably hit it with some convertible top protection spray, just to help prolong its life. Works great, and the price was right.

Chris: Fits the winch pretty well and is doing its job. I like that it’s all black and doesn’t boast any fancy colors or labels that draws curious eyes towards it. Keeps the suing off and the rain out.
