Gomez: Absorbs my sweat in barre class. I use it on wood flooring so I don’t slip. It sticks to the floor and also the rubber on the top gives traction to my barre socks. It is soft enough— and thick enough. I was concerned it would be thin and scrunch up under my feet— it does not! I am happy with this yoga mat. It does it’s job.

Lisabel: Just got back into yoga and decided to treat myself to a new yoga mat towel. I like the design and that it has corner holders for your mat, unfortunately it was a little longer than my mat, but not a big deal. It was however very slippery to me, even when I wet it for a little better grip. I ended up taking it off my mat during practice.

TK: I purchased the black towel with the lotus flower and love it.
My friend loved the picture of the Maroon towel, so he purchased one for me.
However, it is not as pictured. It is really purple and orange.
It is still beautiful and works wonderfully - but I don't want anyone to be disappointed or surprised for their sake and the company's sake. Enjoy!

The AtlheasThe Atlheas: This towel is the 3rd kind I've tried and it is a game changer! I have to use a towel over my mat every time because I sweat buckets in my power yoga practice. I've tried plain microfiber towels from Gaiam and then a towel with silicone grippers on the bottom, but both bunch up and don't always keep me from slipping, which is very distracting during a vinyasa flow. These Healthyoga towels were my final attempt before breaking down and buying a new mat completely.

Pros: SUPER absorbent material, beautiful vibrant colors, corner pockets keep it from bunching up, and the amazing material doesn't let me slip (even without spraying the mar with water first!). I just finished a very challenging cardio yoga class and I was shocked at how much deeper I could get into poses and how much easier it was to transition through poses without slipping or smoothing bunched up fabric. I think I was wasting a lot of energy using other towels that weren't helping me grip. I also love the dotted lines at the top and bottom as guides for hands and feet, even though I'm a strong intermediate yogi, its nice to have.
