Caroline McCullough: I could have saved a lot of $ if I had bought this 1st. My old machine cost me a lot of money because all the burn holes in my shirts, pants, carpet, chair and the seat of my car. This thing is amazing. No having to replace the items that got burn holes. Well worth the price.

Lori: Been using Powermatic 2 for years. This one's slightly cheaper, but solidly built. Smooth, quiet and makes a tight smoke. A King will last almost as long as a commercial 100. My Powermatics generally last about 2 years before I clean them out for 1 more year of poor performance. Curious to see how long this one performs well, but very good so far.

Lee Gordon: I WILL UPDATE IN A WEEK. FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW. So far it doing the job very well. Been using the Powermatic and this one is quieter, more smooth, had nice large handle, a LED light that gives you the count of how many you've rolled. Sits in an oversized tray. I been rolling for over 15 years and so far this is the best machine I've used to date. Time will tell. It's lower in profile and that's taking a bit to get used too. Has a two year warranty. If it lasts one year then it's worth the money. Powermatics I was replacing every 6-8 months.

What can I say really. It's a fantastic electric cigarette injection machine. While I don't have anything to compare it to having never owned an electric machine, I can't think of anything I'm missing. You put the tobacco in the hopper, press it (lightly) into the injector, put an empty filter tube on the nozzle, push the lever down, and VOILÀ! You have a perfectly injected cigarette ready to smoke. The machine is fast! I've never officially timed myself but if you really wanted to, you can probably make 100 cigs in 15 min. I keep a bunch of empty packs of Camels that I just continually fill with what I make. I just sit in front of the TV or listen to music while I'm making cigs and the time will fly by. Again, I never had an electric machine prior to this but, if you're in the market for one, I can tell you that the Hawk-Matic HK2 works very well. You'll be impressed if you're coming from a manual machine or no machine at all.

John: I like this better than the Powermatic II+ . For those that have never tried cigarette injector devices, start here. Initially, you may experience some trial and error as to how much tobacco to add per cigarette. Once you get the hang of it (which will not take very long - usually the same day) you are on the road to major savings. In my state a 16oz bag of OHM Turkish blend is $11.99 and the tubes (on sale) are $1.99. One tobacco bag will provide 2 1/2 cartons (25 cigarette packs). Doing the math, the amounts to 68¢ per pack.

For those that have tried other brands, I (so far) consider Hawk-Matic 2 the best. In the past five years, I've used The Powermatic II and the Powermatic II+. Both machines were durable; both providing about 2 1/2 years of service each (and I am a heavy smoker). My last Powermatic eventually stopped working and it was time to order another cigarette injector machine.

Normally if I'm satisfied with a product (and I was with the Powermatics) I'd simply order another. After reading the reviews on the Hawk-Matic 2, I was on the fence. The new powermatic 4 does not appear to have and on/off switch. There's also been some complaints about the power...
