Mark Wallace: My wife and I have been remodeling two of our bathrooms for the last few weeks and decided to install lighted mirrors instead of separate mirrors and lights. We ordered one of these lights after scanning all the lights offered on Amazon and other sites, and found this one to be the best value with the features we wanted. The light encircles the mirror, which gives us the same effect as a "ring light", which many professional photographers and videographers use. The light can be adjusted in both intensity and color (warm light or cool light) with the touch of a button, and it stays that way after you shut it off and then turn it back on... so you don't have to constantly be adjusting the light. And yes, you can turn it on with a wall switch or have it wired so that you turn it on or off at the unit itself. (Many other brands that we looked at, say nothing about switch control, and in fact can't be controlled with a switch, so beware).

The mirror was extremely easy to install and they furnish wall anchors/screws for different applications... wood, brick, sheetrock, etc. The electrical connections couldn't have been easier... either plug-in to a wall socket or hardwire with...

Phil ParkerPhil Parker: I ordered these in 2019. I installed them in our master bath remodel in early 2020. We have been using them for approximately 8 months and I'm extremely happy with them. They are packaged very well. 1/2" MDF is used to surround the edges of the mirror inside the box. I was very impressed how much detail was put into the packaging. The installation is very easy. I screwed the two mounting screws into 2x4 cross-bracing between my studs since I rebuilt the wall where they were installed. I didn't use the drywall anchors supplied. I installed recessed outlets in the wall behind each mirror and utilized the plug supplied with each mirror. The outlets are wired to the old switch which used to control the can lights in a soffit over the two sinks in the original bathroom. They were not good. Shadows on our face, especially under your chin. I didnt want over-the-mirror lights for the same reason although they would have been better than what we had. I could have put side light sconces on both sides of two mirrors but the space was tight on the left side of the vanity. Those would have been better yet but not near what a surrounding light can do. eclectic customer: This was about as easy to install as a normal mirror, despite the large box for the LED lighting and anti-fog. The instructions and plastic template took the guesswork out of it. It is sturdy so once it's correctly installed you don't have to worry about it breaking.

The controls are easy and fun to use! Once you read the instructions and play with them a bit they are entirely simple to understand. One word of warning, I mistakenly turned off the controls with a slow push while the lights were out and they went dark. You can do the same thing with the anti-fog control. Scared me thinking I somehow broke my brand new mirror. Took about a minute to figure out how to get them back on.

The lighting on this mirror is not what I had hoped for. If I turn it all the way up so it lights my bathroom, which is fairly small for a master bath, then it is really too bright. That seems to just be a result of having the LEDs go all the way around the mirror. I think if they put extra lights at the top, then it would do a better job of lighting the entire bathroom without blinding you. I also have a led light exhaust fan in the bathroom.
