Luna: The product is an oversea shipment and took over a month to arrive. My first impression was that most of the table pieces are cardboard or plywood and would not last the test of time.

Assembly was fairly easy and would take less than 30 minutes if two persons are present.

After a few games it looks like the Foosball table is quite sturdy and should withstand the test of time unless someone crashes into it.

Overall I think it is a great buy for the price.

Amazon Customer: Decent product for the price. Seems stable. Assembly pretty simple, takes about a half hour to assemble. Sloped corners would be nice but again for the money, good product. Only 4 stars because my order got lost twice and took over a month to receive. Otherwise I’d be compelled to give 5 stars.

Kevin Webb: I give this product a 5 star rating not because its the finest product ever made, but because it was exactly (if not a bit better quality) than I thouht it would be. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. The smaller than regulation size makes it ideal for the tight space where it fits in the play room. It is a great starter table, perfect for kids, and adequate even for adults. Alrhough by no means a tournament table, the play action of the table is quite good. I grew up playing serious Foosball, and I still enjoy playing on this table. Some minor design flaws, such as the players are too close to the table so that when they are upside down the ball cannot pass under their heads.

Addressing some common review complaints:

Quality- it is made of compressed particle board, but it is plenty sturdy and stable. Adjustable feet allow you to level the table. If you want a table that will last you a lifetime, spend $500-$1K and get a regulation table. I expect it to last several years at least. For what I spent that is all I ask.

Assembly- Not at all difficult, just time consuming. Instructions were very clear with illustrations parts are numbered. Allow 1-2 hours....

mike: This is good for its price. It was easy to assemble but is a two person job to assemble some parts of this, like when putting up the side panel and screwing it in. This is a nice sized table, doesn't take up a lot of room and for the price not a big deal if you keep it in patio or indoors. Since it is smaller table its a bit harder to play with four people, but its possible. If your playing it with two people it does take some getting used to, I got confused at first because of the way the people are lined up, and when playing some times the ball can fall out of the goal because both the goal and the hole to grab it are right in front of each other so if the ball goes fast enough it'll just bounce right out. Also not all players can reach the wall because of the plastic stoppers, so the ball can go past them. I also found it odd on the positions because the goalie line and the defenders are a little to close and makes it acquired to hold at the same time if your a taller person. Its also not very tall, even with adjustable foot pads.
For the price and size of this table its really nice to use. I recommended this for people who don't have a lot of space in their home but still...

That Helpful Dad: I look at a lot of foosball tables and in the end I decided on this one for a few reasons: although I love foosball I've never had a full-size table before and so I wasn't quite ready to spend 500/1k or more - that will be on the next one; this Hathaway is a great 'starter' table. I was also a bit concerned about the size of full-size tables, this Hathaway is a tad smaller than full-size and a nice compromise for us. And finally my son is 6 and we often have kids ages 4-8 in the house - I couldn't see getting a 'nice' table just yet until they get a bit older.

Here's what I like about the Hathaway:
1) the quality is what I expected for the price. It's obviously not top of the line, but it's a good value for the money (<$150). Actually a great value
2) the players offer surprisingly good control for this price point. Granted I might not know any better not having played on a 1k+ table but I'm pleasantly surprised
3) setup and being able to play in under an hour was nice
4) it's the right size for my 6 year old crew. a taller table would have been a problem
5) even though it's not full size, I wouldn't call this a kids table. It works fine for my buddies and...
