Zenix: Instead of searching around and getting information in pieces, this book gives you a headstart to have an overview of the competencies and skills required to decipher the regime in a professional setting, regardless of where you stand. You can refer back to this manual when you need it and build upon your expertise step by step. An authentic and reliable source

Pablo Rios: Trata de algunos temas de liderazgo sin abarcar todos, sin embargo está muy actualizado y refleja mucha experiencia y citas de multitud de autores. Muy buen, aprendí mucho.

Kindle Customer: I have been reading the HBR blog for a while. But having the opportunity of having all knowledge on a book is amazing
The book covers everything from how to handle your transition from an individual performer to how to develop meaningful proposals.
There's a lot to take back here and apply with my team

Adama Coulibaly: Everything you need to as a manager to work with your team to deliver great results. You don't need to read the book in one go from A-Z. Like me, you can use it as a reference book, go back to it anytime you want, jump to the chapter covering the specific leadership skill you want to apply. There are 16 in total.

And what I like above all are the step-by-step guidance with guding questions and case studies.

Overall, a good book.

BookGeek: Every manager has his or her style. And we all think that it's the style that has worked before and will continue to work. After reading only the first few chapters did I realize that there are management nuggets here that I have never adopted. Not did I see these solutions before. This book doesn't waste any time in teaching veteran managers, and rookies,, on how to be effective as managers. Some of this material appear in other HBR publications, it's great to have all this wisdom in one book. I bought the Kindle version first, I am going to get the hard cover edition as well. This book is a must have in every manager's desk.

Akin: There are very few books I have read that offer such deep insights and clear actions.

This is a must read for new managers. It will change your views on managment/leadership and sharpen your focus in the leverages of success in the new role.

It is equally a must read for current/experienced managers. It will help you shed the common misconceptions about managment/leadership and refine your approach.

This is a book I wished I read earlier in my career.... that said, it is a book I will always reread as often as possible.

BJ: I was hiring some new employees and needed something to pass around for those interested. This book has proven to be such a great resource and productivity and team morale has elevated with just a few people reading it in leadership positions.
